It a judge determines someone is a threat to themselves or others it shouldn’t matter how much money they have or don’t have, they should lose their guns.

The question now, as it was then, and as you continually attempt to wriggle around as if you don't understand the question, isn't a matter of whether they have money or not. It's whether their mental faculties are such that they are unable to manage what money they do have: forget to pay their bills, are taken advantage of by scammers or unethical family members, no longer remember where they might have accounts, etc.

You were firmly of the opinion that such a mental state should not deprive them of their 2A rights to own a weapon of destruction. And implying that it did was some sort of discrimination.

Just own the fact that you're an idiot.

If a judge feels that how someone manages their finances are relevant in determining whether they should be restricted from owning firearms that is okay. I’m sure each judge has various criteria they use to decide each case.

So you don’t know the criteria that would first make a person stand before a judge to have their guns taken, no do you know how the judge decides.

Just that it can happen, and that means that someone failed here. Got it.

In the mean time, you vote to protect 2A rights.

Really, you’ve done more to enable this guy than the cops. Remember, it was a finite time ago that the guns he used were illegal. Thanks to voters like you, they are now allowed. Swans coworker thanks you.

Why does it all have to be down to a judge making a decision?

Why can't the legislatures pass laws?

Oh wait, cause then that would infringe on people's 2A rights. Best leave it up to a judge. Who of course would always make the correct and proper decision.

This didn't seem to get to much press.

The 11-year-old boy killed when someone in a car fired into a crowd of children in the West End on Friday has been identified as Dominic Davis by the Hamilton County Coroner's Office.

The report from the coroner's office lists homicide as the circumstances.

Dominic, four other children and one adult woman were struck when an occupant of a dark sedan fired 22 rounds near an intersection about 9:30 p.m. The other victims − boys aged 12, 13 and 15, a 15-year-old girl and a 53-year-old woman − survived. One of the injured victims remained hospitalized in stable condition as of Monday morning, while the others have been discharged.

Lot of interesting info in this https://www.pressherald.com/2024/01...ston-shooter-says-i-literally-spelled-it-out/

The cops and military completely bottled it. Also interesting that people were calling the shooter a pedo because someone else with the same name is on the registry.

More proof that trusting the police or the military is a fool's errand. Too many cops and members of the military are so ate up in the gun culture, that telling them someone you know of is headed for a deep dive into madness and they have loads of guns they're itching to settle scores with is tantamount to telling your fairy godmother. Nothing whatsoever will come of it.

It should be ten times as hard in this country to legally possess a firearm as it is to get a driver's license. Hell, a hundred times as hard even. It should be illegal to carry them openly in the public, and damn near illegal to carry them concealed. There should be no weapons like so-called assault rifles in the hands of the public. There should be no magazines that hold more than 10 rounds. The second amendment should be repealed.

Anyone who doesn't realize that the one thing and the only thing that will help to lessen the numbers of mass shootings is going after the guns and making the guns exponentially harder to possess is an idiot. It means you don't believe in facts, you don't believe in empirical evidence, you don't believe in proven data and you don't believe in the one thing about these mass shootings that makes them rare in 99% of the rest of the world and a daily occurrence in this country.

There is depression and profound mental illness in every corner of the world. People all over the world play violent video games and watch violent movies. There is hatred around every street corner. But in almost the entire rest of the world there are not 3 guns for every 2 citizens, and it isn't easier to get guns than it is to buy a ticket to a hockey game.

F uc k the NRA. F uc k the gun fondlers who think an armed America is a safe America. F uc k anyone who believes in the myth about the good guy with a gun.
