I'm surrounded by...let's generously call them gun enthusiasts. On one side is the 83-year old with a pistol strapped to his hip (and I just drove him to and from cataract surgery, so his eyesight is wonderful). On the other is a nutcase who flies the Gadsden flag and has an assortment of weapons and sets off mortars every July 4. The guy across the street is at least sane and physically fit enough to competently handle a firearm.

I'm glad the killer's rights are more important than mine.
 
The helicopter just swooped low over the house and my dog jumped up in my lap for protection.

According to the scanners a homeowner contacted 9-1-1 to report someone who is not "a known neighbor" on their property. Who knows if that is accurate, or even the shooter. But maybe it's almost over...maybe.
 
Lewiston is the “worst part of Maine”, according to Drew. Hopefully this kind of gun violence sticks to just liberal enclaves and people of color.

Sorry for your co-worker. Horrible.

And the tragedy is going to just continue as people like drew clutch their guns. Especially the ones that are capable of killing a lot of people quickly.
