I had forgotten that Keith Seabrook even played for DU. Can't remember if he left after one season, or mid-way through his first season??

Anyone know how Joe and Drew are doing for Calgary? Are they getting a decent amount of playing time, has Joe finally found a team to settle down with? When he was with Boston, I was wondering whether he would ever be a long time NHL'er. In any case, glad to see him as participating in the playoffs.

Re: All Things Denver, XXX1X

No mention of the Coors Field thing for next season? DU will be in Michigan the weekend the Avs play outside. I guess plans could still be announced/changed for DU to be involved. The weekend before, is CC. Interesting

Seabrook played 1 year and then went to WHL.

Joe has found a home,,actually it is his hometown:) 64GP 8-20-28 (missed a month injured) Won Humanitarian Award and one from the media.
Drew has only played in 11 games.(1=2=3) primarily in the last 6 weeks.

Re: All Things Denver, XXX1X

NDgoon.blogspot.com reporting the first NCHC "pay-to-play" begins this fall.
Grand Forks Herald: UND to pay some student athletes cost of attendance and some living expenses
For now, UND hockey (and 18 female athletes from a sport to be determined) will be the only UND sport that is going to give grant-in-aid to their student athletes. The NCHC schools are going to be giving out money and UND is following suit.

Anna Burleson , Grand Forks Herald -- Athletic Director Brian Faison said concrete numbers will be available "soon," but the school is working to figure out how much it will cost to pay students with what they're calling "full amended grant-in-aid."
