Continuing on Cagguila's feed, the moron who did the yelling outed himself by apologizing to Drake, and Drake told him to direct his apologies to Monty. The moron has since gone private so his tweets can't be viewed.

Hmmm, I wonder if Moore deserved a one game suspension for that hit. The result was certainly bad, with the UND guy doing a complete flip in the air. Very dangerous, and I'm glad that the UND player was OK. Just wondering whether Moore's hit was the type of hit that would normally cause such a dramatic result. Seems that he just put his hip out, and happened to undercut the guy in a very strange way. The league obviously saw something they didn't like. But I'm a little surprised about the suspension, especially given the fact that Moore doesn't have a bad history--prior to the 5 minute major, he only had ONE two minute penalty in 27 games.

CC does indeed suck. Literally, figuratively, and in the standings. Not sure what kind of presence CC fans have on USCHO anymore, but I'm wondering whether the CC fans are giving the new coach a break, or whether they were supposed to be a lot better this year than they have been.

Gwoz's teams would quite often falter in the games vs CC that DU was "supposed to" win. Hopefully Montgomery has a different approach and different results.

But Gwoz still rules. I miss the guy.

And Vizoroo, what is up with the periods after every word? It makes for a very halting speaking style if you read it out!

I'll be there. Should be good times. Might be a treacherous drive back to the city, it's supposed to start raining during the afternoon, then switch over to snow around 10 or 11 that night. Oh well!

As far as I am concerned, everything is waaaay better nowadays around the program. But maybe Pablo has insight! Hmmmm...I always find Pablo's knowledge, uh, fascinating.

I have heard rumblings that he may be looking at coming back to NCAA after this season. For what it is worth, it's just rink chatter. Connected chatter but still...

Oh, Chris...You are a cad. Do you really need an explanation as to why Gwoz is missed? Perhaps 2 national titles, fifteen 20-win seasons, and an impeccable representation of DU are statistics, which you don't care for? Bring Serratore back, he was the man!! I kid. But really, you don't understand why Gwoz is missed??? Montgomery is great (lest you claim 10 years from now that I'm bashing Monty)...but he's no Gwoz.

Monty may not have 2 NCs.....yet. But I love his style of play: gritty, tough, swarming. More of an emphasis on blue collar work ethic than blue chip stars who leave after one or two years. Gwoz is surely a tough act to follow, but I'm extremely happy with what I've seen so far from Montgomery. I have a feeling that this year it won't be "one and done" for DU in the postseason, as it was for the last few Gwoz years.

I like the style of play, too. There have been some times where I have just stood back and admired the work ethic the players have shown. Players seem to have bought into what he is doing this year, more than they did last year. And that will really pay dividends once we get a steady flow of talented players that do stick around for 3 or 4 years.

Yeah, I too was frustrated with the one and done. For sure. But Gwoz is already a legend in DU hockey up there with Armstrong. Hopefully Monty will get to that level, too. It's a good start, but it doesn't mean I can't miss the great things that Gwoz brought to the table..and to the rafters.
