No mocking or poking fun? C'mon kick us in the collective beanbag!

Both of our teams had first round tourney exits this season, I have nothing to mock or poke fun of. :)

We need these guys to fill Rock, Ruegs and Big Joe's skates. Hopefully, they are up to the task.

USHL Futures Draft Results for Colorado Thunderbirds' players. Note Quentin Shore has committed to the U-17 USNDT so he wasn't drafted as the U-17 team plays some of their schedule in the USHL. This was a 6-round draft for 1994 birthdates. The regular entry draft is tomorrow at 10AM CDT.

1st Round - 9 - Gavin Stoick - Green Bay
3rd Round - 40 - John Dora - Tri-City
3rd Round - 41 - Bradley Hawkinson - Lincoln
3rd Round - 43 - Christain Heil - Chicago
3rd Round - 44 - Matias Cleland - Waterloo

Not at this point of the offseason.
Maybe ask me again in October. ;)

"John" doesn't sound like he's related to Lukas. I say we recruit him anyways. I'd like to see that name on the back of a DU jersey again

Don't put a lot of stock into this list. Its been floating around for a while and hasn't been updated or tweaked.

DU recruit David Makowski, the most dominant D-Man in the USHL and who won a championship with Green Bay, wasn't listed in the Top 50.

Where's Sam Brittain? One of only two college bound goaltenders ranked by CSS.

Shore was the top scorer in the Under-18 Tourney and the WHL went after him hard. He should be a lot higher as well.

Finally, Bennett may go in the 1st round so that tells me all I need to know about him.

I was told that this list is considered to be a joke in college coaching circles. DU has one of their best classes ever and should be in the Top 3 in recruiting classes.

Good stuff :D If DU gets him, this would be great payback for Testwuide.

Kyle Rau has a twin brother, Curt, that also plays on the Eden Prairie team. Curt is a dman though.

I've read some places online that have said that the Rau's are looking for a package deal from a potential college that would take both brothers.

Won't happen from what I hear

Explain to me this payback for Testwuide? I assume you're referring to Mike, who went to CC b/c they offered him a scholarship and DU offered a walk on position?

These "package deals" seem to be coming up a lot lately. I don't recall hearing much about them in the past. I wonder if the high cost of tuition is driving this or parents are getting more savvy.
