Friday was painful. ASU goalie was unbelievable on Saturday. DU controlled the action, but couldn't buy a goal. SMH

Hopefully Pios get well on cc(sucks)

Silence is deafening re Montgomery firing. Reminds me of DU's handling of Gwoz's firing.

Looks like they’re down to about a 100 all session tickets for the West Regionals in Loveland. The Greenies have almost sold it out. Fargo south.

Former DU recruit Eric Middendorf is now a former CC tiger. Did he have 2nd thoughts after DU swept the tiggies?

SBN's All Decade Team has two Pios so far. Joey LaLeggia on the 3rd team and Will Butcher on the 2nd . These 2 represent 4 All American selections, Hobey Baker finalist ,Hobey Baker winner, as well as many, many NCHC honors. so who are the defense men selected for the 1st team?

DU alum Troy Terry suffers a broken bone below his knee cap.:eek::( Troy will be out approximately 10 weeks.

Not good news for Trevor Moore diagnosed with concussion shortly after returning from a
November shoulder injury.

We are not too far from the puck drop for the second half of the season. Umass beat RPI tonight in their lone game of the weekend before they head out here. Interesting that they face #5 in the PWR BC the weekend after they play us.
Two hopes I have for the second half. One I would like to see us play more physical on a consistent basis. Secondly, we need to get a few guys crashing the net. We've got a lot of skilled puck handlers/shooters. We need to fill that void left by Luko. Dirty, greasy goals count just as much and to go deep we need them. We improved with low to high puck movement as the first half went on--having guys clog and crash will help.

What do you all think about the goal tending assignments? Stick with the tandom or go full throttle with Cools?

A little deja vu--Larsson injured, Cooley comes and just wins. Cooley injured, Chrona comes in and just wins. Once Cooley returns along with league play he goes back to his winning ways. DC will probably go with both until one seems ready to takeover. I'm rooting for Cools!

Me too. I felt like he played better vs the kitties. Happy New Year Viz!
