Let’s not make fun of the Sullivan curtains, seat covers, or whatever. We need to start supporting our conference brethren. We all need to do our part. I plan to go down and spend my money at the Kendall, regardless if Air Force shows up or not. And if they are a no show, I will still cheer loud and strong when deep into the second period UAA finally buries the puck into net the Air Force goaltender would have been defending had he been there. :)

It’s the least I can do.

Everybody knows that the sully attendance sucks. I think it's more like a curtain of change. Or maybe the curtain of compromise. I know there are many that think this is a bad idea, including myself.

Start winning some games again and it'll go away. This is a fickle sports town...unfortunately there aren't enough homegrown (and locally educated) people here that will stick by the program when it's down.

UAA's situation reminds me a bit of when Ferguson took over in 2009. I could see you surprising a few people his season just from the energy surrounding a new coach.

Thanks ……….I never thought you would be so classy and modest and say such a sober from the heart complement after UA_ lost 3-0 to Air Force Friday night in the opener.;)

I will take a 6-1 W any day but 55 penalty minutes and three misconducts is way too much. I suspect we will see a much more focused QU team tonight. Should be interesting.

I agree. If we cut down on the penalties, I think we wil do well tonight.

I am in a predicament, on one hand I want to you guys to kill those dirty Bobcats, but I also want UAA to win the Kendall Classic. Yeah we played pretty good last night, but I think we caught a team off guard who overlooked us. Idk, how about you lose by 5?!

Haha I'll pass on the lose part. It would be a good win for a young team if we can win tonight.

Nanook fans i come in peace

my two cents on your game against Quinnipiac, 5 on 5 you guys dominated, but spending a 1/3 of the game on the PK can really take its toll and it did tonight (we uaa fans are quite familiar with that). Kinda felt sorry for Keeney cause he played a hell of a game minus that 4th goal. Really impressed with the morely brothers, those could be a deadly duo all season if they stayed paired together.

Penalties were a massive problem, and we can't blame it the refs. I saw some real bone-head moves out there...

I think the governors cup game will be more competitive than ever this year. That's something in all our interests.

The Nooks have to stay out of the box. A **** good team when not in the box. Its early in the season. I'm sure Coach and the captains will get the guys on the right course. Thank you for the insight as I was unable to attend the games or watch them. Good luck to the Seawolves as well...except when we play you guys!

Quinnipiac took advantage of what Air Force couldn't, namely a lack of discipline. The second and third periods were relatively even (although I bet Keeney wants that fourth goal back), but we were pretty bad in the first. With all due respect to UAA, QU played like a team that knew it got waxed by an inferior opponent the night before and we didn't match the intensity from the start. That said, my guess is the coaching staff tore the guys a new one at first intermission as we came out looking much better in the 2nd.

As a fan, the biggest improvement I want to see next weekend is staying out of the **** box. You aren't going to win many games with 55 penalty minutes.

With all due respect to UA_ , watch out that "inferior opponent" will be doing a lot of "wax job's" this season.

Sorry, I can't root for UAA. Why would you? I hope they get swept. They're doing good things and improving the program for sure, but I'll never root for them.

I'm the same way, can't root for uaf, although blue is my favourite college football and nfl teams primary colors, can't root for uaf. Please change your colors so I can wear blue without feeling dirty
