Petersen isn't playing bad, but it's just a different team with him out there. He's just so freaking snake bit with that unlucky 2nd goal, the freak first goal and now the ppg in tight.

LaBate @ center is doing nothing....not that any of the team is, but he's not jumping out at you. Wake up out there.

Whatever Ferris State did to make their team good, let's try some of that. The Badgers aren't playing as if this is the most critical season in the program's recent history, because it is.

I don't know, Petey was flopping around like a walrus at the top of the crease looking for the puck on that last goal. When he's that far out with the puck in front on a pk, might as well just look behind you, 'cause that's where you're going to find it...

Thing is now everybody is wondering if Petey is going to implode in the third.

Credit to the Seawolves (whatever the heck that is) for keeping things simple and sticking with their game. Badgers look so out of synch... I agree Labate (and his line) are getting us nothing. All this flip flopping in the lines is not looking like a good decision.

Gotta come out in the third, get it in deep, get it to the net, win some puck battles... and some FACEOFFS. No way faceoffs should be close between these two teams.... YUCK.

You only play 38 or so games, every game counts boys. As we and they know, 1 bad loss can cost you the ticket to the dance. Kick some ***.

Rumpel's in net, is it too late?

Well Kurt confirmed the rumor.
The fact was proven correct.
The guess was 180 degrees out of kilter.

I'm glad he said that, because it means we can probably look forward to an angry team of Badgers ready to win every race to every puck. Until the last 7 minutes or so, everything on the ice seemed pretty blah from a Wisconsin fan's perspective.

Now 4-8-1.

It's ok though because Kerdiles is going to play tomorrow night. The other guys can watch Rumps and him win the game for us, I guess.

This was an extremely disappointing performance. It's not that I'm shocked we lost, not at all. It's the way we lost.

Eaves obviously didn't mince any words post game. I imagine he didn't in the locker room either.
