Today she buried one grandma and lost her other one while she was visiting her. The first was unexpected, the second was, we think, waiting for her to come home. A very sad day for her.

On the good vibes side...it is exactly 1 year until my wedding date. We have the venue set and booked. She has already bought her dress. I'm truly a lucky guy to have her!

Prayers for your friend and you too. It is never easy to watch someone go thru that.
Prayers for your good friend on the way. Suffered the same fate with a transplanted kidney in 2007. It ain't no picnic. Cancer sucks. I hope everyone involved can hang in there and overcome. I'll pray for that.
Thank you. Two things happened that gave me some reassurance on Sunday before the race. For starters, one of my coaches from Team in Training reached out and tapped my necklace, as if to say "mom is with you," and then a total stranger wished me good luck and said "your mom is proud of you."
Continued prayers for his recovery.Surgery was delayed to tomorrow. Rozzi is in great spirits right now...nervous as hell but in good spirits. Keep he and his family in your thoughts. He has 2 little girls as well. The Doctors have given him a good shot as recovery as the cancer was caught early.
I will have an update later as to his progress.
