Ready for some fantasy baseball? I'll be running the USCHO Nerds league for the eighth consecutive season. It's been fun and competitive every year. The defending champions are Morneau's Mashers, who defeated the Broadmoor Bulldogs in the finals.

It's a 16-team league, head-to-head format. Registration is first-come, first serve.

Draft date is slated for Monday, March 22, 9:30 p.m. EST. I'll send reminders through this thread periodically.

Oh yeah. I tweaked things slightly this year, as there is now an option for divisions. So we'll have four divisions of four teams, with the winners earning auto bids to the playoffs. The other four spots will be based on overall record.

On a side note, the division names are tentatively set up as the ECAC Division, Hockey East Division, CCHA Division and WCHA Division...as commish, I can place teams in any division they'd like. It would be cool to have the ECAC fans in their own divison, etc., though entry is first come first serve, and I won't place restrictions based on "fanhood"...so, it's highly unlikely we'll have an even distribution of fans meaning the division names will likely change.

I'm in and am currently in the ECAC division. I'd be happy to move to the Hockey East division. Looking forward to it, as this is my first year in the USCHO league.

PS My teams name is Victoria Phillies

In... Oddibes Butterknife. It wouldn't let me put an apostrophe in my team name... weird. I'm sure it has other years. I would've preferred "Butterknives", but that was too long. :)

edit: I also tried Kevin Mench's Shoes, and it said that was invalid. what the heck? do I have to list my team name as "Butterknives of Oddibe" or "Shoes of Kevin Mench"? :p

I'm in. Haven't done baseball in a couple seasons but am looking forward to getting back into it.

I'm in. Team name is currently Steve Phillips, but I'm trying to think of something more creative...

I got put in CCHA, can I get moved to WCHA?

I almost named my team after Mookie Wilson. But decided on something simpler.

Oddibe McDowell? He never played for the Brewers! :p

I'm now signed up. My team name is the Minnetonka Menace. If possible I would like to be in the WCHA division with Brenthoven (tArrogant B@$tards) and bigblue_dl (Steve Phillips). I think it would make it more fun to be in a division with people I know and have hung out with. But if that doesn't work out no big deal.

A new division has been created just for you, the CHA. You'll be moved there promptly and you WILL LIKE IT!!

Who am I? Kreskin? What's your team name, and what division do you want to be in?

Looks like the WCHA Division is set and locked. Only two spots left, one for the ECAC and one for the CCHA...unless there are others who wish to be moved.

I am happy to be in the EZAC despite my affiliation with another conference. I need all the easy wins I can get! :D

HAHA. I don't care that much.... I'm a Hockey East guy... but it's not necessary to move me. I was havin' fun. :D If you want to move me, I'm the McNugget Marauders.
