...as a bachelor. I will be getting married on next Saturday. It's actually strange how calm I am about it. I have no nerves or apprehensions about it...can't wait for the newest chapter in my life.

Being married is truly an awesome situation, having your best friend at your side at all times, with two way unconditional love.
Always put her needs ahead of yours. What you'll find is she'll reciprocate and put your needs ahead of hers, then you have the perfect balance. If both of you put your own needs ahead of your spouse's, then there's always this grating friction as you try and pry what you want out of the relationship. By both of you unconditionally giving, you get what you want out of the other person by them giving vs you taking.
