Outside of my own rooting interest, this game is super intriguing. bc could actually do Wisconsin and Minnesota a favor here by knocking off the fighting nurses. On the other hand, watching bc lose in gut-wrenching fashion wouldn't be a bad consolation prize either. ;)

Personally, I'm rooting for BC in this game, mainly because I think it's someone else's turn...as long as that someone else is not the BADgers. :eek: :D :eek:

Ultimtely, I think I'm with you on this. And as much as I don't like it, it might be the BADgers year. Oh well, go Orange today (obviously not Tiger orange)

I thought that each of the last two years. I'm starting to believe that the Badgers are no better at finishing off a year than they are at finishing off a prime scoring chance. :eek:

Yeah, that is true. They absolutely were the best team in 2016/2017 but really messed up against Clarkson.

Btw, did anyone else during streaming intermission notice WOMEN’S BOWLING at the end of the NC$$’s celebratory clips of college athletics?! Were they hacked?

Refereeing was spectacular. Shout out to the CHA. Lots of physicality, lots of stuff that *could* have been called but wasn't. It made for a really awesome game to watch.

Defensively BC was amazing, again, for the third straight game. Although it was weird though watching us sit back and defend for two periods after getting the lead. It was so against our usual style. But it nearly worked. And the game plan of basically treating it like a PK when G/G/P was on the ice sure seemed to be the right one, because until the goal, which came on a net front scrum, they were completely neutralized.

We definitely played well enough to win. We had our opportunities to end it (Lonergan's breakaway with about 5 min left comes to mind). But we'll just have to try again next season. After Clarkson tied it it was like we said "Okay, we can play our game again" and they responded well. But it was always a toss up from there. Ugh.

Once again Grant an excellent write up on the game. I am sorry that I missed the game. My wife as and I were in NYC for our granddaughter's 3rd birthday.

Hang in there, it only took me 43 years to see an NC$$ banner raised at Clarkson and it is now 48 years and counting waiting for a men's banner :eek:.
