But that's what a "hack" meant where I grew up, "back in the day". ;) For example, I never heard the term used when they talked about Gordie Howe, a great player but also an instigator who spent a lot of time in the penalty box. But he also had the skill to score a ton of goals when he wasn't in the box. In the years since there have been a lot of players like him.

P.S. I bet there isn't a coach in the country who would turn down an offer to add these two "hacks" to their roster!

I agree with most of what you say.

Except:

There have been NO other players like Gordie Howe, before him, or since him. Period.

Brad Frost is a great deal more diplomatic than me. He's always entitled to his opinion, as are we all.

I have little doubt she was having fun every time she gave an opponent a cheap shot push, shove after the whistle. Particularly common after she was called for penalties. I'll say it if you won't. I have a low opinion of Haley Irwin. Not unlike your stated opinions on Idalski, Mo & Jo, Means, Lawler...the Gophers. It works like this, if I have to encounter your opinions in the course of reading the forum, you may encounter a few of mine.

Wisconsin leads 2-1 after one. I will be flipping the women's front page after every period.
