37th BRF! Brown @ RPI

Re: 37th BRF! Brown @ RPI

Do you remember when the BRF featured noise makers??? Stadium horns? Cowbells?

Beat Brown and pick up some points!!

No, I don't remember those things. Big Red Freakout was not in existence when I was in school.

I note that the team is entirely dressed in red tonight, which seems appropriate. I thought they would simply wear the road uniforms, but the road uniforms include black helmets and, IIRC, black shorts as well. Tonight, the helmets and shorts are the same color as the sweaters.

They didn't need special days to get crowds then. Of course, prices were less even including inflation.

Doesn't count as a save, but a heads-up play by Diebold to prevent a rebound off the end boards from coming back over the net.

I like these uniforms...wouldn't mind if they completely ditched the black, or at least restricted it to a bit of trim.

Looked like he spent some time as a shortstop. Sorry, I'm referring to his earlier back-hand stab.

Toronto Lakeshore - Doug Bonar (power play) (Michael Prapavessis, Rory Bell) 19:51

Re: 37th BRF! Brown @ RPI

Actually, it was not an empty net goal. Brown put their goalie back in with a faceoff at center ice after they were called for offside .
