3/8/15 - There can be only one! (Or is it 3?)

I would think so. Oswego goes to Adrian in the QF.

If there are only three western entrants, I think it will be Hamline at Point in a play-in with the winner traveling to Adrian for a quarter. I don't see Hamline getting a bye to the quarters, and potential for a Point vs Adrian rubber match seems appealing...

Edit: unless they would have to fly Hamline to Adrian for that potential quarter.

Or winner of Hobart/Oswego to Adrian for a QF?
That's thinking outside the box!
Let's see
1. Amherst
2. Trinity
3. Hobart
4. Norwich
5. Plattsburgh
6. Oswego
7. Nichols
8. Plymouth St.

That's a weird seeding then. But your idea would put OSW/HOB @ Adrian, PLY/NOR @ TRI, NIC/PLT @ AMH and HAM @ WSP for the QF's

Ouch. It will be a short post season then... don't like the Lakers chances the way they are playing. I'd think Adrian would be one of the prohibitive favorites to go all the way.

I think that is indeed a flight. I think we're looking at Hobart straight to Adrian for a QF.

Re: 3/8/15 - There can be only one! (Or is it 3?)

The only way I can see avoiding a flight in the before the final four is to give the entire west the week off and send them all to the QF with Adrian either hosting Hobart or Oswego as well. Your byes are probably the three western teams, Trinity, Amherst, and Hobart/Oswego (not sure which)...

Including SNC could help tidy up the west and avoid flights... ;)

SNC vs Hamline in a play-in with the winner going to Point, while Adrian hosts Oswego or Hobart in another quarter.

Or, SNC to Adrian for a quarter and Hamline to Point in another.

They won't include SNC just to make the pairings easier. I don't think the numbers are close enough to justify including them...

Re: 3/8/15 - There can be only one! (Or is it 3?)

I said HOB/OSW @ Adrian last week when we were asked for "bold prediction"... Still a possibility, too.

I don't think it was that bold a prediction. I think it's much more probable than allowing a flight in the first two rounds if it can be avoided.

Re: 3/8/15 - There can be only one! (Or is it 3?)

As I just said in the women's forum: it's 10:00 and the women's selection show has yet to start. What's the over/under on how late this thing gets kicked off?

Re: 3/8/15 - There can be only one! (Or is it 3?)

I got a little farther into the show before it went to 'THANKS FOR wATCHING".

Here is what I saw:
Plattsburgh vs St THOMAS
Middlebury vs Norwich
WRF vs Lake Forrest
'THANKS FOR wATCHING"

I don't even see a link on the website to watch it...
I didn't have any problems watching the show. You didn't miss much. Took less than five minutes. Pretty straightforward reading of the bracket.
