The President has decided to rename Mt. McKinley to Denali. OK, no problem with it as that's what is was called before the Congress renamed it after a dead President.

However, the internet joke fest has started as Denali means "The High One". Wags are saying that the President named it after himself.

Glad to see The Man has a sense of humor.

I guess it's true; conservatives just can't make good jokes.

The push for this started back in the 90s. It's not like Obama woke up one morning and said "I think I'll give the Palins an aneurysm."

Over/under on number of days before the righty conspiracy theory that "Denali" means something in Arabic?

I had good money with the bookies in the UK on the IRS thing, but the dumb sh !ts in the House inexplicably screwed me when they wouldn't give Lois Lerner full immunity to dime out someone on the WH. A decision I still can't fathom. Didn't anybody on that committee ever watch Law & Order? You make a deal with the small fish to land a big one. ;)

Well, the people in Ohio will be upset but we've been calling Denali for years.

I'm just worried about the inevitable assassination attempt up here.
