Re: 2nd Term Part X - A link to a fore gone conclusion

Why do you think most crime...take place in urban areas?

Because there are more people there...not because dangerous people live there. The most dangerous people are far more likely to live in rural areas and have access to guns.

The top 10 most dangerous states per capita to live in includes states without major urban populations Alaska (#1), New Mexico (#2), South Carolina, Delaware and Arkansas. This based on crimes committed.

And almost all of the top 10 places with most dangerous individuals have lax gun control laws and high rates of gun ownership. Notably missing are NY, IL, CA, MA, MI, etc.

One big flaw in your rebuttal: You're only considering firearm related incidents. You're not considering all the shootings in Chicago (unless you have Old Pio on ignore), blade related incidents, the knockout game, the list goes on and on. I see you also conveniently decided to take what I wrote out of context in order to type all that drivel.

Its based on a per person basis. That's the bias. There are just too many normal people in Chicago.

Yes, and the topic was talking about forcing these criminals to be placed in these suburban neighbourhoods instead of just leaving them in the urban areas, essentially spreading the crime. Not sure if this is part of the plan to get the suburbanites to accept a police state, but we're not talking about rural areas.

Murder rates drop as concealed carry permits ... soar?
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/jul/14/murder-rates-drop-as-concealed-carry-permits-soar-/

Black females were the fastest-growing concealed handgun permit group, increasing 3.44 times faster than white females.

“The stereotype of the gun owner being a middle-aged male white guy from the South is simply not correct anymore,” Mr. Keene said.

Good for the ladies.

I won't try to speculate on where most black females live or why they may feel the need to carry.

And now one for Flag:

But according to the latest report, concealed carriers are among the most law-abiding citizens in the country, even more so than police officers.

Trust me: I carry and I'm not a cop.

Re: 2nd Term Part X - A link to a fore gone conclusion

No more concealed carry permit in Maine. Anyone who can legally carry, can carry concealed

So Maine's gone "Arizona" (open carry; no permit required concealed carry)?

I understand why in Arizona: Walk up to a diamondback and that .410 Judge (loaded alternating .410 "snake shot" and .45 Colt) comes in handy. ;)

Protecting your sister from a moose?

Protecting your sister from a moose?

Relative. Rattlesnake. The neighbor carried when he was in the yard and I wondered why. Then the rocks rattled one day. I hadn't a seen a Judge before, much less loaded with "snake shot". He rolled the cylinder to a shot shell and had "margin for error". The "every other" in the cylinder (shot shell, the 45 Colt) was a nice touch.

PS - Moose are smarter than to live in that heat all the time. ;)

PPS - Read up on the history of the Taurus Judge and how it got its name. Interesting.

Another genius.

The Times News reports that when Downs was at the jail, she told officers that she read online Obama created a law that permitted her to print her own money because she’s on a fixed income.
When officers searched her apartment, they found counterfeit bills totaling between $30,000 to $50,000.

Herp. Meet derp.

“If we redefine marriage, the homosexual political movement will force churches, schools, families, businesses and individuals to accept, to affirm, and even to celebrate those who participate in anal sex, or anal sodomy,” said Dr. Steven Hotze, president of the Conservative Republicans of Texas. “It will be mandated to be taught to the children in the schools, at an early age, starting in kindergarten. They will be encouraged by their teachers to participate in anal sex.”

I dunno, man. These people really obsess about the buttsecks. Just sayin'.
