2nd Term Part X - A link to a fore gone conclusion

Re: 2nd Term Part X - A link to a fore gone conclusion

Speaking of christian presidents and whatnot, it seems like it used to be when I was young that the pres would be photographed going to church with his family on Sunday morning, quite regularly. Is this still in fashion? Have our recent presidents done this, or saved it for Easter & Christmas?
I don't like mixing a person's religion with his politics, I think Obama strikes a good balance in that department. He seems to more or less keep it out of his public life and public remarks while being open about what has influenced him.

I recall both Clinton and GWB being photographed going to church. Obummer probably rolls out his prayer rug in his private office five times a day (he was born Muslim, and the Jeremiah Wright thing seems like a front to pander to Christianity).

I think church going for the Chief Executive is now problematical due to "security concerns".

Plus he was born in Kenya, and those folks don't know what GAAWWWWWD is.

They then promptly went back to the Oval, where Slick probably got a Sunday afternoon BJ from his harem of interns, and Bush continued putting American lives on the line in an unnecessary and crippling war.

Some good that pretentious church goin' did for them.

Hey now, Pat Robertson talked about how the country should go after Chavez.

Good news, bad news on TPA, with a special Tea Bagger entry in the Godwin Olympiad.

The House Friday afternoon approved fast-track legislation, known as Trade Promotion Authority, by a vote of 219-211. That produced cheers from the floor, but there's a hitch. And unless it's fixed, TPA won't reach the president's desk.

The TPA vote followed a vote to reject the Trade Adjustment Assistance bill by 126-302. The TAA legislation would have funded retraining workers displaced by trade pacts. Democrats who normally would have voted for such legislation voted heavily against it as part of a tactic to block TPA. Under a procedural rule passed Thursday, if TAA failed, TPA could not be sent to the president. Originally, in fact, the plan was not to hold a vote on TPA at all if TAA failed. But Republican leaders changed their minds after the parliamentarian reportedly informed them that the TPA vote was okay as long as TAA would be reconsidered.

So the House will take up again TAA early next week. If more nudging and cajoling and arm-twisting by President Obama doesn't succeed in reversing that vote, TPA will remain in limbo.

That reads like the House is playing a game of Just The Tip.

Today is day 2 of Jade Helm. Have any Texans been forced into gay marriage at their Wal-Mart FEMA camps yet?

You just can't make this stuff up. But, par for the course for Obama's shambles of an immigration policy.

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/jun/15/121-murders-attributed-illegal-immigrants-released/

"In a statement Monday, ICE said that a criminal record isn’t enough to qualify for mandatory detention under agency policies."

and

"Still, ICE stiffened its policies this year, insisting that a supervisor approve cases when the agency plans to release immigrants with serious criminal records."

Again, one couldn't make this stuff up.

Oh stop your bi tching already. The gubmint doesn't have the resources to deport everybody even if we can agree that a lot of them should be on the next plane out. Therefore you need to prioritize on a case by case basis who gets canned. Aren't Hispanic leaders upset at Obama for deporting more people than any other President?
