Re: 2nd Term Part VII: You May Like Your Doctor But You Can't Keep Her

Actually you did. But don't let facts get in the way.
Mao and others is not equal to "all". That's what I said. It's not a hard train of logic to follow. You can talk to Priceless about what he meant with his comment if you'd like.

Re: 2nd Term Part VII: You May Like Your Doctor But You Can't Keep Her

That's just Bob being Bob.

Say something and then backtrack and/or deny and then play the persecuted card.

At least OP defends his ridiculous positions.

You'd think it would be hard to type from up on his cross.

Says the one who keeps trying to claim that Hitler and the Nazis are an example of Christians doing bad things. :p

When did he stop being Catholic? When did the Catholic Church excommunicate him?

From what I've read he lost interest in Catholicism very early in life, well before adulthood, and was rather anti-Catholic from there on out. The story is out there is you do a little googling.

What is your first language? Your response about Mao and others agreeing was in response to Priceless saying that ALL athiests rape and murder. Apparently the logic train was booked because you are definitely not on board.

And I said Mao and others. Yup. Do you want me to repeat that a few more times? Take up what Priceless said with Priceless.

I'm sure the book you read whitewashed the church's involvement and absolved them of any responsibility.

I invite you to educate yourself on this subject, given that you complain every time I tell you anything about it. Not that I expect anything else.

Thanks for the invitation, Bob. I've already educated myself on the subject. Hitler grew up in the Catholic Church. The church insignia had within it a swastika. He was an altar boy. He was a "soldier of Christ." In 1934 he declared himself a Catholic in a speech and in 1936 he said that Providence had made him a Catholic. He was never condemned or excommunicated from the Catholic Church, in fact the view of the Vatican was that his treatment of the Jews was justified since they supposedly killed Jesus.

But you can keep on denying he was Catholic if you like.

Re: 2nd Term Part VII: You May Like Your Doctor But You Can't Keep Her

Difficult to determine what exactly Hitler said and did in 1936, but we will wager our salvation upon statements a guy supposedly made two thousand years ago in a culture laden with pagan symbols and concepts in a language no one here understands recorded many generations after the fact as double or triple hearsay and translated at least twice. But if you just believe, it all makes sense.

Read the wiki instead of cherrypicking a few minor things that aren't representative:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religious_views_of_Adolf_Hitler
If you read that and think Hitler is representative of Catholicism or Christianity, well, you have active fantasies is all I can say.

Re: 2nd Term Part VII: You May Like Your Doctor But You Can't Keep Her

Adolf Hitler was a dbag who was Catholic in name only. Mao Tse-tung was an ***hole who happened to be atheist. That should settle it, right? No? Ok, I tried.
