Re: 2nd Term Part VII: You May Like Your Doctor But You Can't Keep Her

Cheerios thought they had the Most Controversial Commercial title all wrapped up, and then Coke said, "Not so fast!"

Bonus points to this guy for being a xenophobe AND wrong

And yet, people are silent about the TSA-like rapes at the gate.

Re: 2nd Term Part VII: You May Like Your Doctor But You Can't Keep Her

I like how USCHO knuckledraggers are trying to play the "Oh Christie is a victim of the lamestream media" card...when its the right wing press that's been flogging this story ever since it broke. Check out newsmax sometime. Every other column is anti-Christie scandal pimping. Tell me knucks, has newsmax been taking over by liberals?

The lunatic caucus on the right never liked the fat bahstid. Now they're seeing an opportunity to stick a fork in him and they aren't passing up the chance.

EDIT: Flaming liberal newsrag the WSJ with yet another anti-Christie story today...

Christie is simply a victim of his own super-sized ego.

It was bound to burn him eventually.

And no doubt that the right wing wants him gone and now is their chance. He's not far right looney enough and can't be controlled. They want their puppets on their strings and there ain't rope strong enough for that guy.

Yeah, but at least the Cheerios commercial didn't suck. Coke blew the Super Bowl worse than the Broncos with their sorry lot of ads. They were terrible!

Love the National Anthem line though. That's classic. But for the record, I think twitter is a terrible representative example for how America is reacting to that commercial. Or pretty much anything. Can you imagine the Federalist Papers limited to 140 characters and written by people who having nothing better to do than twatter that they are taking a massive dump or that Justin Bieber "IS TEH BESTEST IN TEH WORLDZZZZ!!!!!"? Twatter is not conducive to anything intelligent.

What kind of g******m Communist boycotts Coke??? Are we supposed to boycott mom and apple pie next?

I think the righties need to call a time out, huddle up, and figure their messaging out. :D

I think the vast majority of righties weren't bothered by the message. The only complaint I've heard so far from the vast majority of righties and lefties with whom I converse was that they were put to sleep by a borefest of a commercial. Hell, I didn't even realize there was a controversy until someone mentioned it on here.

I think we should probably start boycotting twatter. The world would be a better place without it.

Best ad of the superbowl. Because of this, doubly so.

Ever since Superman was outed as an illegal alien they've been out of sorts.

HA! That's fantastic. Wait until they find out Captain America was a first generation immigrant.

Between Bill O'Reilly's non sensical interview with the President and this Red State clown not knowing what the National Anthem is I'd call it a red letter day for America.

Given the cop doesn't take the time to get a warrant, it absolutely is.

...or just say you 'believe' the cop is there unlawfully.

"A person is justified in using reasonable force against a public servant if the person reasonably believes the force is necessary to protect the person or a third person from what the person reasonably believes to be the imminent use of unlawful force"

Maybe you should have cleared it all with the Feds before you started doing something illegal at the Federal Level?? http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...-revenues-could-go-up-in-smoke-says-lawmaker/

Is a consequence that if DoJ DOES issue regulations permitting the banking system to accept Colorado marijuana money, marijuana becomes Federally legal?
Nobody thought through much of anything before these laws were passed. Another big mess is how legal pot intersects with driving under the influence laws. Laws were written with alcohol in mind, but pot is obviously very different in its effects, residue left in the bloodstream, etc.

You're absolutely right Bob. I lost a trial and retrial of a kid who caused a fatal accident when he was high. We had toxicology results, but were unable to prove when the accused ingested the THC.

I watched the 17-year old victim die in the arms of an off-duty nurse. It was that case that made me decide that 21 years was enough. I still think about it more than 20 years later.
