Scooby already believes its all the Repubs fault, I'm rubber you're glue
No belief required, just being aware of the political bull**** that's been occurring since Obama took office, and the dozens of times republicans have tried to vote out the ACA rather than doing ANYTHING productive.

And the thought never crossed your mind that the law may just suck, especially considering polling on it has resulted in it being unpopular?

LOL. The law sucks, yet:

Republicans openly support the keeping your kids on your health insurance til 26 provision.
They openly support the Medicaid savings since that number shows up in all their budgets (including Ryan's).
And they openly support not being kicked off for pre-existing conditions.

The Republicans are the biggest joke in politics. They never put their money where their mouth is and they never nominate a candidate for President that exhibits their true values. If it wasn't for their enormous success in destroying the middle class they'd be entirely irrelevant.

Here is hoping they finally come through and nominate Cruz in '16. That would come close to squaring the ledger.

You forgot its only because Obama is black

Didn't feel the need to bring race into it, but yes that remains a problem for many people who still can't accept that he was born in this country. Pretty much any democrat would have run into the republican brick wall, Obama just has an extra layer of derp to deal with.

As do we, every time you open your mouth.

Sitting back here and enjoying the show. Nothing's more amusing than watching an evil ideology self destruct because the people driving the bus are completely insane. Never thought I'd see this day coming, but when Useless Harry Reid is the guy playing chess while his GOP counterparts are playing Russian Roulette, you know you have serious problems. Its beyond obvious that modern day conservatism has no brains or balls. Anybody who longs for the mythical days of right wing fiscal sanity needs to abandon the GOP and form your own party.

I'd also like to know how adding anti-contraception language to a budget bill makes sense, but I already know the answer. Just a suggestion knucks', but basing a party on its rank and file's frustration with not being laid in 30 years probably isn't the best way to go, no? ;)

I hadn't heard about the contraception language. That's hilarious.

Re: 2nd Term Part 5: Big Brotha

"The House even included in its spending bill a provision allowing employers to opt out of covering women’s preventive health care, including contraception. When they should have been thinking about the damage to the economy from a shutdown, Republicans decided to go to the brink with this hugely unpopular right-wing demand.

A few hours before midnight is the worst possible time to reignite the culture wars, but House members are too delirious with ideology to care. John Culberson of Texas described his reaction at a meeting of Republican lawmakers: “I said, like 9/11, ‘let’s roll,’ ” as if his partisan antics were somehow on a par with the ultimate sacrifices of ordinary citizens 12 years ago."

Just when I think Republicans can't go any more whack job, they continue to amaze.

They're fortunate that there are so many mouth breathers out there "votin' for 'em" coz the crabby old farts and the white businessmen wouldn't be enough by themselves.

Hope they all have their flag lapel pins on today.

Re: 2nd Term Part 5: Big Brotha

The 9/11 reference was in extremely poor taste. GOP is a shell of itself. Obama said it best. If a Dem Congress was trying to force a GOP President to expand abortion rights for example or refuse to raise the debt ceiling and/or shut down the govt, what would the reaction be on the right?

This kiddie circus in the House has gone on long enough. If these people don't want to govern they should forfeit their salaries. The Boner should also resign. I've never seen a more hapless and pathetic leader in my life. The guy makes Mike Dukakis look like The Man of Steel. I wonder if he's stopped sobbing yet.

I'm sure the contraception provision has something to do with jobs, jobs, jobs. After all, the Bone Man said so.

Isn't that how the Tea party started? Quickly got corrupted but

Re: 2nd Term Part 5: Big Brotha

At least some Republicans get the idea.

“We’re very excited,” said Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.). “It’s exactly what we wanted, and we got it.”

“It’s wonderful,” said Rep. John Abney Culberson (R-Tex.), clapping his hands to emphasize the point. “We’re 100 percent united!”

“I just think you saw members who said, ‘Look, let’s just do what we all know needs to be done and frankly what the American people want to see done,’ ” said Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), who worked closely with Graves on the plan and helped persuade House leaders to accept it.

They have embraced the shutdown. They are proud of it. They have no doubt about which side should take all the credit for it.

Bachmann insisted that the GOP would ultimately be rewarded for standing firm. “People will be very grateful,” she said.

Why should Barack Obama or Harry Reid get any of the credit? What say you, walrus?

Sounds to me like they embraced the bill they sent to the senate. Did anyone of those guys actually say they embraced the shutdown?
