I don't even know how to respond to weapons grade derp like that. It's the perfect combo of general hysteria and obfuscated insults with no factual backing whatsoever.

He's worried women will get the right to vote.

Re: 2nd Term - Part 3 - Echo Chambers, Chorales, and Wingnuts, Oh My!

Women voting?! How dare they! Next thing you know, those 18-year-old whippersnappers will want to vote...:p
There's a town outside of DC (Takoma Park) that allows 16 year olds to vote in municipal elections. I don't think there's a citizenship requirement, either.

If they allow it, so be it. The amendments are written that you cannot deny or abridge the vote to certain people on account of certain things. It does not assume a negative case.

Israel just dropped a bunch of bombs on a Syrian weapons facility. Lots of unconfirmed reports that Syria has already declared war on Israel.

Declarations of war are so passé. And have never been all that popular in the Arab world anyway. In any case, Israel doesn't need a return address.

I think PETA has infiltrated this administration. Guess what can now apply for welfare...

Boy am I glad I read the whole article before I commented, or else I might've reacted like you did. You're aware it's a charity right? So are you implying that they're receiving government funding for this service and lying about it?

http://petfoodstamps.org/FAQ.html

Q. How is this program possible?

A. The Pet Food Stamps Program is made possible through individual donations and grants. It is not a Government sponsored program.

Dammit, you weren't supposed to READ, you were just supposed to REACT.

He doesn't care about facts when he's trolling.

Now, if it's the merits of such a charity that he's calling into question, well that's another matter entirely. It's a nice gesture, but certainly there are human beings who could use help a lot more than these pets.

Considering he tried to use this to malign the administration, I don't think that's what he was going for - although he may try to claim it now.

They covered that point pretty early; hard to miss that it isn't a government program.

Although, I would think some on here would be wetting their pants about people needing to show ID to participate. At least I think they meant people.

Haven't heard anything recently...has the stock market tanked because of health care yet?

Re: 2nd Term - Part 3 - Echo Chambers, Chorales, and Wingnuts, Oh My!

Never heard of QE3 and two instances of "Operation Twist", have you? Plus, PPACA hasn't taken full effect yet.

We were "warned" on the eve of the vote that if it even passed the stock market would tank.
