Fade2B&G, so what is it? China pays athletes like Gu and they have to keep their mouth shut? So what does that make the athlete, a capitalist? Useful idiot? But if you visit DJT and dont scream about (fill in your blank, too many to list) you are nothing but a pawn? Or a capitalist?
 
SE Michigan press are funny. They all lay claim to a ton of the US team. But some of the families moved here to be close when their kids made the usdp. Like the Hughes.

While it’s great they spent time here, and Quinn and Luke went to UM- they all moved here just for hockey.

Big nit pick, for sure. But this state has to be honest with themselves that Mn has a better youth program overall in terms of accessibility.
 
It may be MORE affordable, but it is still expensive. As you go up in age it becomes more and more difficult to keep up if your parents aren’t well to do. You do get some diamond in the rough/cinderella stories here and there, though.

But yes at the youth levels there’s a lot more access to the sport than a lot of places.

its funny how they don't. mass people seem to get this, michigan does not.

they are even claiming Boldy in multiple posts that I saw.
