That one Norwegian nordic skier is insane, even by Norwegian standards. Watching him charge up hills like they were nothing, herringbone form and poles almost a blur. Crazy.
Tara Lipsinski and Michelle Kwan's post-Olympics careers could not have been any different. Lipsinski clearly has a top plastic surgeon and pro makeup artists on speed dial to keep up her errrm..."media" appeal. Meanwhile, Kwan is almost unrecognizable as a middle-aged mom in her commercial, compared to the footage from 25 years ago.

You know why - because plinking paper targets with an Anschutz .22LR just doesn't have quite the same pelvic feeling as waving your .44 Mag or M4 lookalike around.

That's not skiing, that's a dead sprint uphill. It's astounding to see. How he can make it look that easy with skis in his feet makes even more special to watch.

I know google is watching- I just got a video laughing at gun people about the same thing that I posted. Gun people like to throw shit at biathlon- even though there are zero people capable of doing it in this country at that level. One thing that seems apparent- seeing a European Woman, French making it worse, getting all targets shot so fast that it looks so very easy really drives gun people nuts.
And today was a great example of that- there was a race today and the woman from France made it look so very, very easy. Took a few seconds to get one, and a pause for 2, but then the rest just one right after the other, dead center. While I only really watch once every 4 years, that was so, so, so...... so, so hard to actually do. It was breathtaking. And she did it so easily that I'm sure gun nuts think they can all do it without even looking. No way a French woman can shoot a gun that well in their minds.
