2026 Elections: To the Midterms and Beyond!

54-46% Barr is my final prediction based off of the early results. I’m going with Dembo in KY-06 by less than a point.

Rowan County in the coalfields of eastern Kentucky is Booker +3 with 61% vote counted- Trump carried it by 28 points.

If it comes down to it, Alaska’s polls don’t close until 8pm, which is midnight for you eastern time zone people. Probably around 10-11pm local for any sense of results.

For those who didn't vote by mail, any of you seeing the Gestapo...errr ICE at your polling sites? I assume not given how lily white most of board's remaining membership is.

Markwayneheinrichwhatever claims they will only be present if there is a "threat". Whatever that means.
No ICE. A couple more police officers than typical, but also a much longer line than usual (typically there is not more than one or two people checking in Ahead of you) . Not sure if that means more people are voting or if it just took everyone longer to slog through the 10 ballot questions we had.

Just skimmed Bluesky and smiled as I scrolled.

But then had a sudden wave of dread. What if Musk/Trump and Co. reverse cheated, GOP does their stupid "it's rigged," schtick, and they find it actually *was* rigged?

Not looking good for a Graham dynasty in SC. 25% left to report and she's still down by over 100k votes. Ruby red Myrtle Beach already mostly counted. She's gonna have to hope to swing most of the remaining votes in the Upstate area.

That's a shame.
