Exactly. Does that perspective help you understand how ridiculous these extreme "either/or" barbs sound? You mean like all Republicans (and the establishment Dems who take AIPAC funding) are doing?

But that is in the DSA platform. No one is advocating for eliminating borders and in fact they were never open at any point in time.
btw the vast majority of illegals in the country are there by way of overstayed visas.
Put another way, I abhor the designated hitter and agree with Crash Davis that there should be a constitutional amendment outlawing it. I still want the Cubs to employ it so long as their opponents use it, however.I understand that one side gets away with them and will still get elected regularly while the other side gets scolded for having a fraction of the extremism of the first. The double standard has been in place and been bullshiat for decades.
I wanna know what you consider a "moderate' position is. Because as I said previously, I suspect, like Brent, it's just Republican positions, just without all the chaos, hatred, and casual racism. On what topic? Surely on any given issue you should be able to envision a position somewhere between the far left and far right?
Immigration for example - is there really nothing you can picture in between "zero borders, 100% amnesty" and "masked undercover agents murdering citizens"?
We've tried that. Donnie and the Republicans keep torpedoing it. Or haven't you been paying attention? But that is in the DSA platform.
And i believe you are correct about the majority overstaying their visas. The DSA platform advocates for 100% amnesty regardless of status. For people like this wouldn't it make more sense to figure out an improved system to determine who can stay / have their visas extended / possible path to citizenship?
Who keeps voting against laws outlawing cousin-fucking. Just shut the fuck up.Troy Jackson is going to own Collins among voters who fantasize about banging their cousin. How they **** do the Democrats find people like this?
Yes - i think it is shameful. That does not mean i support 100% amnesty. We've tried that. Donnie and the Republicans keep torpedoing it. Or haven't you been paying attention?
But those aren't "extremists" Those are the 'moderate' politicians that you say we need more of.Exactly. Does that perspective help you understand how ridiculous these extreme "either/or" barbs sound?
How about something along the lines of - borders are more secure to reduce illegal crossings but at the same time system is revised to increase immigration for those who will be productive members of society while also identifying and keeping out those who may be here to do harm. For those already here, figure out a path to permanent status and/or citizenship for those that qualify (meaning you are here being productive). And sorry, if you are here illegally and you are committing crimes then you are going to be deported (but we are doing it in a manner that isn't terrorizing those here legally or on a path to extended visas/permanent status).I wanna know what you consider a "moderate' position is. Because as I said previously, I suspect, like Brent, it's just Republican positions, just without all the chaos, hatred, and casual racism.
Which is *exactly* what we could have had, (Time.com) but 77.3 Million Americans wanted this:How about something along the lines of - borders are more secure to reduce illegal crossings but at the same time system is revised to increase immigration for those who will be productive members of society while also identifying and keeping out those who may be here to do harm. I voted for Harris - and supported the bipartisan bill.
He said he was gonna. Also, in fairness, it is untrue that everyone who voted for Trump in 2024 wanted this version of ICE.
He said he was going to have unmarked masked agents shooting US citizens? He said he was gonna.
She is a disgusting little gremlin. On the heels of some not-great polling news yesterday, Stevens just straight up came out and said El-Sayed hates Jewish Americans.

Abdul, we were both on the ballot in 2018. I was capable of winning my competitive primary and general election. You lost. You lost by over twenty points to Gretchen Whitmer and you will lose to Mike Rogers by talking like this. Everyone in America understands you want to blamex.com
You keep arguing that there are no absolutes, but then keep making absolutes.I voted for Harris - and supported the bipartisan bill.
Are you saying that since it didn't get through you think we should go for no borders / 100% amnesty? Or was the bipartisan bill too "moderate" for you to begin with and you wanted no borders all along?
Also, in fairness, it is untrue that everyone who voted for Trump in 2024 wanted this version of ICE.
