2026 Elections: To the Midterms and Beyond!

After the 2004 election then-Congressman Tom Allen met with a small group of volunteers. "It's time to reassess the legacy of Abraham Lincoln. He had a chance to let them go, and he blew it." He was kidding.

Kind of.

The red states are the only ones providing much opportunity for young folks to buy a house right now. Unless your parents are rich it’s nigh on impossible to buy one in a blue state due to how much they limit supply.

Oh, wait. You're serious?

Coach Tuberville might be in trouble(although I doubt it) or at least not be eligible to run for governor of Alabama. actually doubt that also but.............

An example of how they do elections in the UK. This is from 8 June, 2017, when then-PM Theresa May stood for reelection. Among the cast of characters who opposed her was Elmo (3 votes) and Lord Buckethead (179).
They make all the candidates stand on stage while the election results are read.

Rural areas in blue states have plenty of affordable housing available. Drew wants to build housing projects in the middle of fucking nowhere to make housing more affordable…anywhere in Minnesota > anywhere in Georgia, North Carolina, etc. The Minnesotan government (when it’s Democrats in charge- duh) believes in providing good healthcare, good education at PUBLIC schools, etc. I would take that and living in a shack, or- gasp- an apartment, over a nice house in Alabama or Mississippi. When I (hopefully) obtain my psych NP in a year, Minnesota is on my list of places to move. I miss you, Minnesota! I miss my lakes!
