Picking the biggest fanbases on this forum to lose in round 1 really didn't work out. Glad to see it pan out in the quarterfinals.

I wonder if maybe it's a host team plays the late game thing? Maybe USCHO is like others who may have thought that Stout was an after thought, and that Utica vs. Hobart would be the main event on Friday night?

The Hobart play by play guy said they would be playing the early game, but he could be mistaken too.

Does anyone know if Stout happens to be on spring break? Are they gonna fly home and fly back on Wednesday, or stay in NY all week?

Hobart plays a great team defensive game and really limited SNC's prime chances until about 5 minutes remaining. There can be no arguing with Beaver's statistics and on-ice success, but Hobart's defensive schemes deserve lots of credit too. Rather than believing that Hobart has the two best goalies in all of D3, I believe most D3 goalies would look pretty damn good with that team in front of them.

Ya think..?

Been to Sage many times, and Hamilton doesn't even draw there, despite the free admission. That place is more of a day-care joint than it is a hockey rink,

My guess is that -even in a perfect scenario- The Aud will be at least 75% empty. (The perfect scenario being a Hobart/Hamilton final.)
