You haven't figured it out yet so I will clue you in before the clue bus runs you over...
Nobody is obsessed with Utica, other than you trying to project how you think on to us. In reality, the rest of us are simply making fun of the Utica fan base and your apparent unhealthy lack of other life interests. Outside of entertainment on this board I for one spend ZERO time thinking about Utica hockey and the burned-out burg it calls home.
Jealously is a hell of a drug.
Real fans support their team no matter what, win lose or draw. Bandwagon fans are the worse. Plattsburgh hasn't won the National Championship since 2001, but I still wear my shirts, hats and hoodies ! I am also a Yankee fan.

Yeah they only have five tournament wins since their last championship game appearance. A program like utica must have way more tournament wins than that over the same time span.
Never touched one, but you must be on some good stuff if you think that delusion is real.

Damn near everyone on this sparse board just has to be 50+, yet the juvenile "my daddy can beat up your daddy" idiocy has persisted for decades.
If there's a mortal lock in this round, it's Hobart vs. ANYBODY at The Dump, er, The Cooler.
Could SNC pull off the upset? Sure. But I expect that you, nubby and her two alias, and the one or two other Green Knight fans on here will dummy-up after Saturday.
My bold prediction is HC, 5-2, or maybe 4-1. (They have this guy in net named Beaver...)

There's a difference between supporting your team and yelling about the past like a jackass like its some kind of flex or that being good in the past means anything right now

Thank you for your support of Hobart Hockey. We love our 'dump' because our Team plays there . We welcome all Green Knights fans to enjoy a game between what I think are the two best teams in D3 hockey and suggest you bring a seat cushion to enhance your sight line that Fishman is so jealous of.

Did you read my posts? I acknowledged that SNC hasn't done anything of consequence in the tourney since 2018 (at least outside of the opening round). I fail to see how that is anymore of a "flex" than bringing up a game that happened in a past tournament at every opportunity.
I never even brought up the fact that they won their championship game appearance in 2018, just that they played in the game.
As likely one of the youngest (I'm closer to 20 than 50) active members on the D3 forum, I will try to show a little maturity and admit that my first two posts were trolling Utica and may have gone a little too far.

1) it's more like the freezer (most of y'all know that already)
2) They don't even sell beer. A cooler without beer is not a cooler, that's an insulated shopping bag.
Some of us have been to the DunnCo at Stout in the old days. I'm sure that's comparable.
