I would think in the next few weeks we should start hearing about coaching changes. My guess would be St Lawrence, UNH, UMass Lowell with Norm bazin retiring, and possibly Harvard.Seems to be more quiet than I would have expected, but perhaps this is about the time that the news begins to pick up.
You would know. You should be a Coach's agent! (LOL)My guess would be St Lawrence, UNH, UMass Lowell with Norm bazin retiring, and possibly Harvard.
Norm is not retiring. In fact, he will likely be signing an extension.UMass Lowell with Norm bazin.
I came here to catch up and 4+ hours later there is a single comment! That shocks me more than the actual news!!Motzko out per Bucci and CHN. Color me shocked.
late to update but Raboin is very publicly staying at Augustana, at least for now.BChockeyblogger says it's Raboin to Minnesota. He's very tied in with the BC program and has a lot of sources in the college hockey world. I'd be surprised if he would say this without it being true
This guy Scott loves living in the past norm's time has run its course. Did a great job.Norm is not retiring. In fact, he will likely be signing an extension.
Looks like Tom Peffall is back on the market unfortunatelyI think it is worth mentioning the coaching changes we already knew about-
Congrats to Rick Gotkin on his retirement after 38 seasons, Mercyhurst had a miserable season including injuries from hell with some bright spots at the end thanks to some brilliant efforts by the defense and Charles-Edward Gravel. It was announced along with the fact that this would be his last season last March that his replacement is assistant coach Tom Peffall. Gotkin ends his career with a record of 617-579-114, 16th in wins all-time and 6th in games coached.
Brown coach Brendan Whittet stepped down Feb 20th for family medical leave but will return in admin role, assistant coach Jason Smith took over as interim. UMass assistant coach Tom Upton will take the head coaching role going forward after UMass' season ends
Anyone I forgot?
