2025-26 Schedules Thread

From the BC ticket office renewal email: The Eagles will host 15 games at Kelley Rink, including matchups against Denver, Notre Dame, Quinnipiac, and BU. Of course, BU is always on the schedule but the other 3 will be home games. A couple less home games for them next year though.

Really happy to see Quinnipiac play Boston College. I assume it’s probably at least a two year deal with BC making a return trip to Hamden in the 26/27 season.

NU ticket renewal did the same thing but I'm not sure if it's actually a nonconference game or not. NU home games include - Brown, Army, Stonehill, Denver, Holy Cross, and UMass.

Will UMass be a nonconference game or just a note like BU/BC??

One scenario I could see is because AIC dropped from D1. UMass and NU may have already had plans to play AIC and then the two teams agreed to play a nonconf game due to AIC dropping but that's a total guess!

Clarkson will be at RIT's Brick City Weekend, Lowell at home, and a B1G team on the road according to the Clarkson forum. Also the Adirondack Invitational.

Bemidji State that I know of at this time:

10/3 and 10/4 at Alaska-Anchorage
10/10 SCSU in Bemidji
10/11 at SCSU
10/28 UND in Bemidji
10/29 at UND

I would guess Duluth would be on there. Also, not sure if they will use the Alaska exemption, I know they didn't the last time they went up there.

I assumed the Alaska exemption went away with the whole no conference thing but I guess it is a thing.

Clarkson is @ Canisius to start the year, the B1G series is @ Penn State x2, Lake State/Michigan Tech at Cheel, North Dakota x2 at Cheel, the Adirondack Invitational is UML (they aren’t going to Cheel) and Alaska (I believe the Nanooks) along with Clarkson and SLU.

It's also possible that they only included UMass as a prime league opponent at Matthews before they tear it down. The other prime league games may be 'road' home games in the 2026 part of the season. BC always includes the BU home game in their ticket renewal request because of the high demand.

The UMass game vs NU from the NU ticket renewal is a non conference home game. NU will most likely be front loading schedule with HE and OOC home games.

According to Coach Carvel, NU and UMass will meet 4 times (3 HE, 1 OCC) next season.

“A lot of teams had AIC on the schedule and needed to fill that game and it’s really tough this late to find games,” Carvel said. “We actually play [Northeastern] three times in Hockey East next year, so we’ll play them four times.”

With 4 games listed already for Western Michigan, the other 6 could be:

- The usual home and home with Ferris State on opening weekend (unless Brett Riley makes quick moves to change this)

- I heard we would also be playing a home and home series with Notre Dame. If so, that might replace Bowling Green this year, after the scheduling hiccup last year.

- And the big fish.... allegedly, Boston College is coming to Lawson Arena for a two game series. Allegedly.

Of course, these are all currently unconfirmed

59th Great Lakes Invitational will be played December 29 and 30, 2025 in Grand Rapids.

December 29
3:30 Michigan Tech vs Miami
7:00 Michigan State vs Ferris State

December 30
3:30 Third Place Game
7:00 Championship Game
