How is Norwich any more proven? The only good win they have is Babson. And Bowdoin is a better win than Babson…The layoff might hurt them but Norwich fans acting like this is a walk in the park are going to be mistaken. Salve is a very solid hockey team…I think. I don’t know how much that thought is coming from last year though. Looking at the resume this year I would call them…unproven. I see one “good” win (Bowdoin).
Salve is skilled, and their goalie is very good. IF Norwich plays the way they’ve been playing, I think a “trouncing” is very possible. That’s a big “if”.

One could make the argument that at least Norwich had to “earn” their way in. Salve got in by virtue of a flaw in the NPI system. But, they’re in. And now they have every opportunity to shut everyone (not just Norwich fans) up and go on a run.
