2024 SUNYAC additions ,subtractions and Tomfoolery......

Despite having been a Plattsburgh hockey fan since 2008 when I was a freshman this is my first away trip to Oswego...where's a good place for a quick bite between the women's and men's championship games and what might be a good sit down place that will be open after the game (assuming we don't get some 4 OT ridiculousness in either game)...
Sub Shop! Highly recommend a Cheeseburger Sub but anything from Sub Shop is honestly good

Whacko Gringo is a fantastic Mexican place. Cheap seats is the best place for wings. press box is ur classic American restaurant/sports bar. Red Sun fire roast also has great pizza/pasta/meats. Would say laparilla for the seafood but they're closed for winter. There's also the classic canales Italian just make sure the team bus isn't in the parking lot. If u guys win and wanna celebrate accordingly a drunk wonzones calzone has saved many college kids lives before just don't use their bathroom. (They're also open till 4am they know their clientele)

Rink snack bar will be closed between games (they have a not too bad poutine). We always hit the Sub Shop before Lakers games (and we did last week between the woman's game and the men's).

All the above are good for after the game (except Canales may be closed that late and LaParillia is no longer in business). Blueline Club will be at GS Steamers after the game.

Shoot my bad they might want to change that temporarily close status on google also wow they closed in December pretty recent

The concession stand at Oswego is one of the best around. Decent prices and good food (though, the typical concession stand variety). Despite the fact they no longer sell Hoffman Hots (Boooo!), they still have decent hot dogs, very good fries, pretty darn good (but smallish) pretzels, and outstanding huge chocolate chunk cookies (though lately they've been more chips than chunks). I haven't tried anything else, but they do have burgers, I think chicken fingers, some specials, the usual. If the other items are as good as what I've had, you'll be fine. Just get in line early before a game or after a period. They can get long.

They do have some tables outside the rink proper and a lot more tables downstairs, if you want to sit and relax. Obviously, you could go out, but you're talking at most two hours between games. Less of course if there's overtime.

As for a nice place after the game, I'll let the locals answer that. There are some good places, I just can't recall them offhand.
yes the line can be looooooong btw periods of a Platty game for sure...Glad the Blueline Club,Oswegos booster club, now has the hospitality room, saves me a bunch of time just to get a drink.....Looking forward to a great game both mens and women's...Let's Go Lakers!!!!
