2024 Elections: One Last Chance for Democracy

My Korean war vet neighbor is going a little crazy with the Trump signs now. Guess this second attempt made it necessary for two more reinforced signs in the yard.

I'm just weirded out by the pot dispensary with 8 Trump signs.

In Michigan? Yea, that's odd. I know some dispensary people, and the parents of them are trying to convince them to have an out if dumpy wins, since he may crack down hard with the federal laws. Especially if he loses this state.

he is A former president. they grow on trees

True. The most recent former president grew on his own tree.

as for jd, how exactly is he replaced on the ballot, other than on his own goodwill?
because where sitting if i’m vance, is one more (finally successful) assassination attempt away from being the gop candidate for president. what could they offer him to step aside, other than becoming the gop’s joe biden? an open window at trump tower?

Unrelated, one of my parents neighbors in goddam mahtomedi got a cyber truck. I kid you not- I walked by yesterday and saw the guy struggling to get a chair into the trunk

Living where I live, I see at least one per week. Today, the window was down (bold move, sounds like) on the one I saw, and you’ll never guess the sex or ethnicity of the driver.

This is the first time the political parties have bifurcated on intelligence.

More than half of Trump supporters believe the unsubstantiated claim made by the former president that Haitian immigrants are abducting and eating cats and dogs, according to a new poll.

Trump's remark, made during his first debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, was based on social media rumors, which lack evidence, that Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio, are eating pets.

...

Nonetheless, a new poll, conducted by YouGov between September 11 and 12, shows that 52 percent of likely 2024 Trump voters believe that the claim is "definitely" or "probably" true, compared to just 4 percent of likely 2024 Harris voters.

But Donnie says he wants to legalize it in Floriduh.

So, when does the right finally give up on all the gaslighting that just isn't working. I mean, I understand they have all of Truth Social and Twatter to spread their lies but at some point it's got to peter out.

That isn't about intelligence...that is because you always believe what the Cult Leader tells you. The Branch Davidians believed the ATF was the army of Satan there to kill David as one of the signs of Revelation. The Hale-bop weirdos killed themselves thinking their souls would fly to some other place because of it.

In a Cult you have convinced yourself whatever your God tells you is the truth no matter what your brain tells you. So despite the fact that Trump can barely walk up ramps, is easily 275lbs, wears makeup to hide how awful he looks, slurs his words, forgets where he is or forgets just basic facts and changes him opinion midsentence...they believe he is the smartest, strongest most capable person who could ever be President.
