2024 Elections: One Last Chance for Democracy

This is real and these people vote...

Literally like 40% of the Biden campaign just needs to be the WILL SMITH POINTING MEME pointing out crap like this... Just embarrass these people and make them think twice about showing themselves in public like this.

The NYTimes sure does love digging deeper and deeper holes...

Leaving aside the idiotic view that they have to mindlessly follow the polls, this Ipsos poll released today shows immigration is sixth on the issues Americans care about — behind democracy and health care, just ahead of gun violence.
Does Kahn think they cover those issues as much? And “Biden’s age” isn’t even on there, but it’s a mainstay at the @nytimes

It does say you can cross aisles in the IN primary. Those may simply be Dems trying to slow his roll.

If that's true, then it's B.S. I never could understand the logic of crossing aisles in primaries. The whole purpose of a primary is for the respective Party to choose their candidate. It's up to that Party, not anyone else not associated with said Party.

B.S.? Open primaries are fantastic. If you’re a Democrat living in Indiana, and you know your candidate has no shot of winning the general election, would you rather have a Republican with even a scintilla of respectability and “moderate” views, or a crazy loonbat? Kentucky has closed primaries. My best friend’s dad has been a registered Republican since the 1990s, but he’s voted straight Democratic ticket in every general election since switching parties. After Beshear terms out in 2028, Kentucky will likely permanently have full GOP control of state government. He wants a seat at the table. Me? I can’t stomach switching parties for that purpose.

But it was only fantasy,
His votes were too low, as you can see,
The tuna got him poisoned by mercury,
And the worms ate into his brain.

It's good, but it's not great.

Every time I hear that, I wait for some evidence that Dems were crossing over and cooking the books and it never comes. The numbers are in line with everywhere else and I just don't see Indiana Dems being motivated enough to care. It serves zero purpose outside of a headline.

But the main question is how many of those Hailey voters will actually pull the lever for Biden (or stay home). Very few, I'd wager.
