And to do so in a en avent where 50 human beings were misled into their destination, dumped off on an island at night with no local notification, no plans for housing or anything else, and for "those libruls" to manage to get them to a more appropriate place for them that night/the following morning.

I'll reiterate. This is not the flex the right thinks it is.

... so when you say "more appropriate place" swannie, what you really mean is "not in my backyard" (NIMBY), right?

The "beautiful people" who inhabit the island - which is a nine (9) mile ferry ride to/from the mainland - don't seem to struggle with the remote nature and "limited resources" (LOLOL) on Martha's Vineyard. Do you think the Kennedys, the Obamas, the Clintons, Oprah, Spike Lee and Bill Murray feel like they are "trapped" when they're in town on the island, and feel a need to flee to Buzzards Bay (not joking) for the former Otis Air Force Base for their sustenance??

Martha's Vineyard - is home to celebs & Presidents - Galavante (Trav

Anyway, it looks like your guy Magoo is taking it in the shorts in the latest Harvard CAPS/Harris polling, which I posted links to on the Magoo thread, but if you need me to double up here, just let me know? I'm just here to help ...

Yeah, the whole NIMBY thing is BS. It's a federal problem and we all know who decided to not follow the bipartisan plan for immigration reform. It wasn't us and it wasn't the Democrats.

I'm sure NIMBYism is at play all over. But in this very specific MV case it isn't. There simply isn't the facility to manage ~50 people like that, with no warning. at night. The people of MV and the advocacy groups that sprang into action to help these people did precisely the right thing.

But since Chuck, et al, live in some bizarro world that isn't remotely moored to reality, I guess we should just point and laugh and refuse to help anyone.

If anyone is all about NIMBYism, it's the Repubs.

Don't want no darkies, no f@gs, no immigrants, no wokes, no college elitists, no drag queens, no nobody anywhere near them.

Just their own kind.

... says the guy who has never spent a moment of his life on Martha's Vineyard LOL.

When you say people "did precisely the right thing", that means sending them to a military base far off their precious island. If DJT had dared to do that, you know the military base would be described as a "concentration camp".

You do acknowledge at least that much, right swannie???

but I appreciate not quoting. I’m close to blocking everyone who quotes these ****s

Oh, you poor, poor dear. SO difficult to continue to believe the BS and drink the Kool-Aid in the face of reality.

Toughen up, buttercup ...
