2023 ECAC Grand Unified Thread

Congrats to Cornell and Quinnipiac for their wins in round 1. We're all rooting for you in round 2.
Interesting that the two teams that didn't make it to the ECAC finals are now the remaining representatives of the league.

LYNAH RINK wont be rooting for us and it’s really upsetting. If we were eliminated, Bobcat Nation would cheer on his squad and love to see Mike Shaffer smile bearing that mullet holding the Natty hardware…..wait…where’s the delete button??!

Of course we'll be routing for you, although your attitude doesn't make it easy.

I’m so sorry to disappoint you. I will say that with one exception, Quinnipiac’s fans on this board seem to be nice, knowledgeable people.

In case anyone decides they want to hit Tampa last minute, ticketmaster has dropped prices in the upper deck corners to $68 per session which includes fees. Thinking of shooting over from Vero Beach, I can stay at my sisters place for free in St. Pete. Good luck to both ECAC squads this weekend.

Congrats to Cornell on a great tournament run. Tough way to lose. The Big Red certainly represented the league well!

And then there's one. Let's Go Bobcats!

Well that smarts. As hard as it is to root for Q, it’s just that easy to root against OSU. Let’s go Deerticks!!!!

Good year Cornell. You did the ECAC proud with the Denver win and held up well against BU, thought you were a bounce away and it almost happened.

Expecting Q to try to come out with an early punch to assert control. Glad we have the support of the league, hope we represent well

Rooting for Q tomorrow with all I've got left after the last two weekends. TBF, that's not much, but good luck Q.

Sucks to lose, especially to BU, but I could not have asked for a better Cornell season just a couple years removed from the COVID disaster.

Good luck to the Bobcats through the rest of the tournament. May you chew up so much Big10 there are chunks of it in your stool.

Any others? I suppose Q may lose some a week from now.

THere is a lot of activity in the transfer portal for ECAC teams also.

NCAA D1 Hockey Transfer Portal (gopherpucklive.com)

Thanks for the link, very useful!

QUAlum2004 who posts sparingly on here any more but is QHockeyBlog on twitter is the most dialed in and he believes Perets is the only at risk of leaving. Graf would likely be the only other possible candidate. Two D men pickups for us including a CT kid who is a Red Wings pick, who spent the last 3 at UND, answers our D question for next year. If Graf stays, we likely are preseason favorites. We have Chase Clark, who is a Coyote draft pick, waiting if Perets leaves.
