I have decided that I am not afraid of the wrath of the Muzzinator, she needs to be suppressed. I very much dislike tOhio St U in every other sport (their hockey posters are very nice people, it's nothing personal, it's strictly business). UMD is practically in WI. We own 2 dogs. I hate trees. Go DAWGETTES!

1 goal game.

While my prognostication skills have been sorely lacking this season (I firmly predicted Wisconsin to win it all), I’m going with OSU to win it by two goals. I believe OSU is a deeper team - especially on the backend - and that will be the difference.

"Oh, how I hate Ohio State."

Very much cheering for the school in my old hometown! But if I was playing with real money it would be placed on the other team. <wince>

Looks like an even split so far. These have been amazing games to follow. I expect the final will be equally as exciting. Both teams have a lot to prove, and have really maintained focus on the prize.

Anyone know the answer to this question:

If UMD wins the NC$$ Championship on Sunday, will Giguere be the first player to win a National Championship with 2 different schools?

Or if UMD loses to the Muzzinettes, will Giguere be the only player to play in 2 NC$$ Championship games with different schools?

I remember this coming up once before - though I don't remember the context - and Arlen came up with, for one, the name Geena Prough, who was on the 2009 Mercyhurst runner-up team before transferring to Wisconsin and playing on the 2011 national championship team.

-----------------

Oh, and Ohio State has Wisconsin transfer Teagan Grant from last year's UW championship team. So no matter who wins tomorrow, somebody wins a second Natty with a second school.

Winny Brodt was a frosh and tournament MVP when New Hampshire won the 1st Natty in 1998 sponsored by the AWCHA - before the NC$$ took over the tournament in 2001. She transferred to Minnesota and the Gophers won their 1st Natty in 2000. Nadine Muzerall was the leading scorer on that team.

The Muzzinator could be the 1st to win one as a player and as a head coach.
