Drat! Harvard needed to face Northeastern. Been there done that with BC.
bc adds an ENG and it's final...3-1. bc and BU for the beanpot championchip.
FHF you need to edit your post.
Hey Tony….nothing you can do about bounces! When did BC women’s program begin? I missed any dates during the between period piece….the photos looked as early as UNH but I know that’s not accurate…maybe as a club but not varsity….thanks!
At least you never have to watch the futility of UNH! They were horrid Tuesday night!
Here is a question for all the followers of the various conferences: what is the format for rest of the games through the playoff season? Will we see 3 on 3 followed by a shootout? 5 on 5 sudden death until a winner is decided? Other variations? Will there be consistency throughout the NCAA? I looked for the WCHA but couldn't find anything after a rundown of their website. Thanks in advance.
To the best of my knowledge, the WCHA will be using full 20 minute OT periods; 5x5; with standard 15 minute intermissions. Play normal hockey until someone wins. One difference: There will be an "ice maintenance timeout" at the first whistle after the 10 minute mark of each OT.
I'll let posters from the other conferences speak for their leagues.
You are correct regarding the WCHA. Some of you might remember the UMD versus BSU WCHA tournament game a two or three years ago that had three 20-minute OT periods before BSU won it in the fourth overtime. To the best of my knowledge, the WCHA will be using full 20 minute OT periods; 5x5; with standard 15 minute intermissions. Yale scores with 31 seconds left in the 2nd to take a 2-1 lead over Princeton. Good broadcast/picture on ESPN3.
