I would like to see us get away from that too. But I'll support making a play to avert the worst possible outcome (8 years of Trump) if necessary.

Why do you pick 1970 as your arbitrary cut off date (other than it somehow backs up a point you are trying to make)? Why not pick 1960? Or 1990?

No you dont...you think you do but you dont. If charisma mattered why would you have ever thought Walker would win?

This is the same BS you pull all the time. You guarantee crap and when it is proven wrong you then find some other non-provable point and meme to latch on too.

The fact you think Oprah could win means you havent looked at piece of data outside worthless polls that mean nothing. Probably saw some story on Morning Joe or Faux and stole it.

But please keep saying "good luck finding another Obama" like that is some sort of real insight. You sound like Sicatoka and his "look at the magicians other hand" rants that are off base.

I’d be curious to know which poll had Oprah winning. I think she probably would because Trump is just that unpopular but it’d be playing with fire and just show how incompetent the party is.

That said I agree with pretty much everything you said here.

By keeping the Petrified Forest in Congress and a lack of a deep bench in the States, the Dems are bereft of a candidate that has broad appeal in 50 states (or enough to get 270 EV).

(We're not much better, either)
