Not me. I think the idea of President Oprah is ridiculous, but it's better than Dump II: In Case I Missed Any Civil Rights the First Time.

I don't want a president with a 6th grade reading level but it's better than a president with a theoretical 3rd grade reading level though we can't be sure because he's never read a book in his life.

Oprah is better than Dump because anybody is. This isn't a situation where I'd walk away from unseating him from power, whether we replace him with Oprah, Joel Osteen, or a pet rock.

Yeah, I don't think "better than Trump" is a helpful bar for a serious candidate to clear, since EVERY SINGLE PERSON clears that bar. By that measure we can run "The Rock" with Al Franken and just call it good.

yup. mookie is all for citizen politicians. go hold office for a term or two, then go back to the studio.

at least these two are not going to become lobbyist ;)

And what about W? Are the Rock and Al Franken better than any GOP administration in pretty much a generation?

Probably not anybody. But pretty much about anybody we all know of. Rosanne included. I don't think that she would be fighting endless, daily battles with 70% of those that entered her consciousness...and odds are fair that she'd have more tact than to make fun of the handicapped.

I don't think there's a person that you and I have both heard of who would be worse than Dump. I seriously can't think of one. Charlie Manson's dead.

I would unhesitatingly support a nationwide random draw where the winner replaced Dump.

It's a wash at worst. And yeah, I would.

I think Dump is in the bottom 1% of Americans for both intelligence and mental stability. He's in the bottom 0.01% for morality.

And for the record, yes, I would swap Dump for Ashley S. without a moment's regret. (1) She's less likely to provoke a nuclear holocaust, and (2) we have never had a crying jag on the State of the Union before.
