2020 Democratic Challengers

Not a split, an evolution. The young leftists fit the ecological niche better. The old moderates are literally dying off, just not fast enough, so they need a little shove.

By the time they die your young lefties will become middle aged repubs!! :D

My guess is for the 10% or so who are operating on all cylinders intellectually and technologically, the entire world over, nation means next to nothing now. Like race and religion it's an ape category.

For a million years the smart have had to hide from the far more numerous and violent dumb. The internet did change that. It used to be the dumb would get mad enough they'd just lynch you. That made life in a small town unbearable, so the smart moved to cities. Cities were a lot better but the dumb were still the vast majority and they could still vote to harm you. So the smart moved online.

It's not a Golden Age and we'll never really solve the problem without FTL and just literally getting away from them. But it's a step in the right direction.

Wait what?!?

All those online comments are from the smart?!? :)

I honestly have no idea what you're trying to convey right now. What hasn't happened in the entire history of the US?

And realistically I don't think the party is going to learn or listen to its constituents so IDK about that part either.

Woman president

That's all scooby cares about

He believes in boobs ;)

So if he is wrong why dont far left progressives win the nomination? Why did Bernie lose? He certainly had the money and he had enough press and chances to be on tv to get his ideas out there and win an audience. What prevented it. And please support your theory with facts. Dont tell me "it was rigged" because you sound like a Trumper when you throw around BS like that.

Rovie claimed the rep party was going to implode and wither away in December - just 11 months ago.

NOW he's right??? :)

Hey even Scooby is right every so often...throw enough darts sooner or later one will hit the target ;)

He ran a bad/late campaign and the dem primary has its issues like I said a million times....

If Hillary's ideas are better why did she lose to one of the most unpopular unpopular candidates of all time who is literally a white supremacist clown while spending 1.2 billion and literally every advantage? It's almost like the fact that Bernie did surprisingly well despite all these issues with his campaign and how the dems curate voters through their primary, and the fact that the other party won with a complete radical dumbass, is a sign that people are rejecting the status quo and "I'm not the other guy America is great we should have more of the same" probably isn't going to work for the left anymore.

Actually I did and you just ignored it like you did the most recent post. He clearly ran way too late and the results of the early voting in southern states vs what happened later on in the swing states and ones that allow independents to vote clearly reflects this.

But don't believe all the political experts who believe this, just listen to the guy who knew Hillary was going to win by a landslide and still hasn't figured out why people didn't vote for her

Anyone (excluding Neo-Nazis, KKK, White supremacists) should realize now Trump is the "other guy" and find a different direction, preferably one that doesn't include playing nuclear chicken.

Well yeah, that strategy might work a little better now that he's in power but when nobody thought he had a chance that might not have been the best strategy and showed how out of touch she was with her prospective voters.

Ummm...he contested every primary. That makes no sense.

"Later on" as in after Super Tuesday even though he lost Massachusetts during that contest, he lost NY, DE, CT, NJ, CA, IL, OH, VA, PA, and MD. Yeah, the guy was a juggernaut towards the end. :D :D :D

Mookie, the GOP IS self destructing in case you haven't been reading any headlines. I will say however I did underestimate the million or more Bernie supporters who turned around and voted FOR Trump thus giving him the margin of victory they needed. Can't say I expected that but since I'm often regarded as a deity out here its nice to remind people that I'm mortal sometimes....

Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers

Southern states had early voting when he was practically unknown...

Also I talked about NY and their arcane rules that makes you register a year in advance to vote. That alone can explain much of the gap between them given the amount of voters. Guessing it's not the only state either hence part of why a primary =\= a general election.

I will say however I did underestimate the million or more Bernie supporters who turned around and voted FOR Trump thus giving him the margin of victory they needed.
Conveniently leaves out the part where a significantly larger percentage of HRC voters did this in 2008 ;)

Again, this is idiotic. By the time the Southern states voted Bernie had already practically tied in Iowa and won big in New Hampshire. Nobody that wins big in the NH primary is an unknown. He lost the south because he had little appeal to non-white voters. That never changed the whole election. Witness him losing the last contest as well in DC for similar reasons.
