I can't figure out how Biden, who hasn't even officially announced that he's running, is polling as high as he is. In fact, I will probably never understand why the two fossils are polling way above everyone else. And before the Bernouts start, yes I know demsoc is a popular position now.

That's kinda what I suspect and with Joe Biden not even announcing there just isn't much critical media focus on him. Most people don't want to think about politics until they have to. Sanders and Biden have name recognition. I suspect other people will rise when the actual debates near and money is spent instead of fundraised.
Around this time of the Republican cycle Jeb was polling the highest. It’s 100% name recognition now.

Going back a ways, I think JFK didn't officially declare to early 1960. However, there were a lot less primaries back then.
We could really benefit from the Australian system.

Obviously a long shot, but was an outstanding governor during his time in Massachusetts. He would make an excellent president.
Bernie seemed to do pretty good on Faux at his town hall.

Serious non-trolling question: Did Bernie pay his "fair share"? I know he paid what he owed but does this meet the "fair share" threshold since he was in the 1% last year?
His income was not capital gains, so he didn’t benefit from the lower rate like most 1%ers
