Yeah because he's been incredibly consistent on the issues (on which he's objectively better) he talks about now since age 18, gee what could possibly be the difference!?

And he has how many houses? His wife got what cushy job again?

Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers Vi: The Undiscovered Country

Well, this spiraled about as much as I feared it would.

Nothing short of an immediate transition to Scandinavia/Finland-style social democracy will ever be good enough for trix.

People can not try to change a crony capitalist society into a socialist one while also LIVING IN a capitalist society. This is not a silly right wing talking point.

Right now, my insurance considers gender confirmation surgery, such as an orchiectomy (testicles removed) or a vaginoplasty (where that thing between my legs is turned inside out for a vag), as "cosmetic" and will not pay for it. Even if the feds provide M4A, they'll still consider it "cosmetic," so I'm still screwed.

Here in Maine transgender medical services are now covered under “Mainecare”

If you go to his rallies (which the media does a great job not to cover) he says repeatedly that he won't be able to do it alone. It's a theme of his campaign. "Not me. Us." It will take a mandate from the electoral masses - and likely a major leftward swing in Congress (Senate especially) - to get his plans passed.

Not happening. Even if we did get 60 seats in the senate (we won’t) the backlash from the red states will be bigger than the one after Obamacare was passed.

We’re >20 years away from the average red state dummy supporting some form of Medicare for all.

He has faults, I’ve literally mentioned them in the past lmao.

One thing I've noticed in your adoration of Bernie is that you are unable to work with what you have. With Bernie, you go with what you WISH you had.

Should M4A become a reality, and my surgeries are paid for... I will drink a large decaf coffee, no cream or sugar.

Is one of them he's a 78 year old man who just had a heart attack?
Sure, if I’m being honest that’s a potential concern. That said rich people with the best healthcare tend to live a lot longer than the average person and I’m not a single issue voter.
