In all seriousness this same fight rages on at Kos, too. And it's selfish there, too.
Centrists and Lefties both have to get over themselves and stop thinking the way to win an argument is to push the other person's face in. That way lies disunity and weakness. One of the most effective techniques the botniks, both Ruskie and Republican, use is to seed discussions with concern trolling or insults pitting the two halves of our coalition against each other.
There will be plenty of time after we win to prove how clever and cutting we each are. Until then, let's cut the sh-t, people.

It's a large community. A tenth are arsonists. Two tenths are measured and intelligent. The other 70% are ballast. Just like real life.
There's a lot of great content and discussion in the Kos ocean if you dive down deep. Those waves of rah rah or facile reaction are only the surface. Underneath there's a lot of deep, quiet seriousness and a lot of power. And importantly it's a place to meet people who are doing real work: campaign staff, Member staff, fundraisers, organizers. It's not just a debate club.

You can do it on desktop too (it's actually slightly harder to do on your phone because you can't really do it through the app as far as I can tell).

US foreign policy isn't "bad." There is no good or bad in the struggle between nations. We're a sociopathic actor among other sociopathic actors. We're part of the war of all against all. We're rich so we wage it with money instead of weapons, except when we wage it with, you know, weapons. We murder millions to enrich ourselves. We do it because we can.
Countries are like corporations: they have no ethics or morality. They are creatures of the jungle. What we learned in school about America as a force in the world was bullsh-t.
This is the reason we should and, eventually, will get rid of nations. But until then we and the Roman Empire and the Han Chinese and Nazi Germany are the same breed of cat from the border outwards. Only a massive and unnatural intervention and regulation of natural institutional behavior can change that and for almost our entire history we have been unwilling to put in the work.
Recognizing that isn't liberal or conservative, it's just ability to see what is in front of one's face.

Backing right wing/totalitarian regimes and coups in various countries that genocide their populations is extremely bad. Maybe you're right about needing a future with no nation states or what have you but in the mean time we can do a lot better than we have been by just simply not supporting the Sauds, Bolsonaro, the coup in Honduras (gee I wonder why we have so many migrants from that nation coming to our border after Obama's admin backed the far right coup's new govt there... hmm), Pinnochet (the list of dictators our country is either supporting or has previously supported is really long...), etc.
Saying other countries or empires have been bad doesn't really absolve our country's role in that area.

It comes from far Lefty's who I know who think anyone from the Center is for the Forever War. You have said watered down versions of that about people like Pelosi but not as bad as The Twitter Caucasus. To them Obama and McCain had the same foreign policy.
Conservadem is not just M4all it is any left policy someone isn't 100% in lock steep for. Klobuchar was called one because she isn't far left enough on free college.

You're missing the point. I'm not absolving us. I'm saying the relation of nations is amoral, like the relation of corporations. In the case of corporations there is at least a mechanism to stop them from harming people: government. That is why the rich are always trying to reduce government: to increase their sphere of action so they can hurt people with impunity.
Nations have no such regulator. The UN has no real independent military force and even if it did they would simply act according to the dictates of the strongest party. Might equals right among nations. The idea that the world order has been based on anything other than self-interest is propaganda propounded by the actors who benefit from the current world order: the US most of all, but all the strong countries in concert.
We're still in a Hobbesian Leviathan world in international relations and we probably always will be until the smarties far outnumber the dummies. And given the smarties are at most at about 10% now, that's not going to happen for centuries.
