I'd give it no better than 50:1, at best, but if the Ds go circular firing squad on themselves in the primaries and are all damaged goods I could see an opportunist move still coming from HR Clinton. And the Clintons are nothing if not opportunist.

Chelsea is perfectly placed to be one of those professional philanthropists who does a tremendous amount of good. Dr. Mrs. had a friend who was a prof of hers at Stanford. Said she'd never seen a student work so hard and with so many demons. She's an average person born to exceptional (and exceptionally driven) parents and she never felt like anything would be enough. That has to suck; I have sympathy for her. I just don't ever want her within a mile of elected office.

So in other words, she's well-positioned to take over the role of rich, shadowy NWO Dem donor from George Soros when he finally croaks. :D

Republicans are never going to let the Clintons die.

It goes without saying that saps like Flag will go to their grave convinced Chelsea is running Martian child organ harvesting slave labor camps. In actuality, I think once her godawful parents have kicked it Chelsea will get rid of her equally gross hubby and redirect her foundation to actual non-partisan charity, insofar as that's possible since the GOP has become the party advocating human suffering.

That would be Joe Biden's role in that case! The elder statesman/default candidate if it turns out everybody else either isn't ready for primetime or was hiding some serious skeletons in their closet that came out at an inopportune time during the primaries.

If this isn't The Plan it should be. Wheel him out like Hannibal at the brokered convention, and give him Oprah as vice.

Sorry but I disagree. Tulsi is awful but at least she is somewhat competent on what it takes to hold office. Oprah is Trump with an agenda you enjoy.

You dont double down on mistakes just to prove a point. Pretty much every Democrat in every district in the US is better than Oprah find one of them or just quit. That is one of the only things that could lose me as a vote.

Not really. At least Oprah would hire the best people. Which is, of the list of thousands, Trump's biggest lie. No one wants to work with him. I guarantee the best and the brightest would sign up to work with Oprah.
