Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers III: Weekend at Bernie's

Listening to KFAN, where they have Kepler (not USCHO's Kepler, but a local political analyst) on once a week, Klobuchar is basically on the brink of running, from the sounds of it. The insiders feel that she could have legs to run, but with EVERYONE tossing their hat in, she's waiting it out for now.

Are you talking about Pat Kessler?

You know the difference between Republicans and Democrats?

This will derail a Democrat.

Quid pro quo will do it. If it was only an affair, I wouldn't care at all.

Gotta have someone pretty clean if you're going to work the "Trump is corrupt" angle.

Now that she's announced, I'll bet he's Tweeting about this within the week.

Howard Schultz is running as an independent. Apologize if this is already in here. This is not a good thing for Democrats. He just announced on 60 Minutes.

He wont make it very far and I dont see many on the Left voting for him. (all he has is business experience...why does that sound familiar?) He wont make much headway at all as an Independent just like Kasich wont.

edit: I love how Shultz decries Trump for not being qualified for the job...yet he is running for the same job and is equally unqualified. Any liberal who votes for him is as stupid as the Trumpers are.

Who cares?

dx is right...stuff like that is why Dems never win. They would rather eat their own than support someone because they dared once act inappropriately. Good lord grow up...
I agree. Who cares? It's personal sh*. It's like the Bill Clinton sh*. I didn't give a sh* if he had an affair. I just gave a sh* if he lied about it under oath. Personal life is personal life. None of my business.

It's not the f-cking. It's the appointments. That actually matters, or should.

1. Not worried until he starts getting on the ballots, which McMullin wil tell you is a pain without hijacking an already existing party.

2. Also not worried yet until he pulls from the left like Stein or Nader which seems unlikely as opposed to a Perot which is split down the middle or slightly to the right.

Help a brother out.....
What, exactly, makes one qualified?

Exactly so, on both points.

I think I wasn’t very clear on my original post. It’s not that we should ignore this; we shouldn’t. I just meant that for Republicans they just don’t care if their person is dirty, they just care that they owned the libs. They almost elected a goddam pedophile. A PEDOPHILE

I’m not saying the Dems should nominate someone like Harris who received a dick-pro-quo. I’m saying the Dems need to make it as potent a weapon for the “independents” with brains as the Republicans have done with Dems who are dirty.

When you’re coming from the high ground and actually care about corruption, you have to be clean yourself.

I dunno...maybe having ANY political experience.

The fact that you would vote for Oprah says enough about you that I need not go further. The fact that you never seem to be in this country doesnt help your case either ;)

Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers III: Weekend at Bernie's

I'd vote for Oprah over Dump.

I'd vote for Flaggy over Dump.

I'm not joking.
