Cause, it was all about socialism, right?

Ironically enough #LindseyGrahamResign is trending on twitter today. I wonder why?

Many on the Right are focused on the important things to come out of last night’s debate. Things like “NO AMERICAN FLAGS IN THE BACKGROUND! WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU?!?”

I got a lot of WHY ARE THEY SPEAKING SPANISH????!?!!??
Which is best responded to with “Ja! Porque no ingles!”

I haven’t seen the “Why are they speaking Spanish?” stuff from either of my two right wing people on Facebook. Though one is a US Soccer Assessor and (hopefully) knows better on that subject.

Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers III: The Wrath of Warren

So 4 Chan and Reddit's TheDonald forums conspired to juice the online polls last night in favor of Tulsi Gabbard.

Media are reporting that Gabbard was the big winner of the online polls.

Media books Gabbard on their shows.

She's scheduled to appear on Tucker Carlson and on CNN tonight.

Congratulations Donald on getting your second term.

Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers III: The Wrath of Warren

I am sure Maggie Haberman is already writing a hit piece on anyone who dares criticize Tulsi...

Obamacare is as popular as it has ever been. It would seem to me the Dems should want to own it and not campaign on replace with Medicare for all.

But don't you dare suggest she's on the take from someone. That would be an unfair MSM smear!

Well I look forward to following the people in this thread as they rip the debaters. I am not watching the clown show until they get rid of at least 25% of the people...

Pretty much, but I'd up it to half for me. Then let THAT half that remains hone their stand and such, so we have a true view of what we could be voting for.

Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers III: The Wrath of Warren

So, pre-debate predictions on who swoons first and who does better than expected?

I'm gonna guess Buttigieg stumbles under the national spotlight, and Swalwell lands some unexpected zingers. I expect everyone to take a shot or two at Biden, and we'll see how he responds.

Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers III: The Wrath of Warren

So I listened to the debate today while working. The biggest loser was MSNBC’s moderators. Everyone else did fine. Except Ryan, Klobuchar, and Delaney. Inslee was such a bore but is going to make a great EPA admin.

I thought booker did sound a lot better than I expected. So there you go. I also thought Castro came off really well.

But back to MSNBC, those mods sucked ***. I know it’s in vogue to rip the left wing press right now, but man. No bueno.

And jeebus. The desperate “Dad trying to order tacos in Spanish” was awful. Pretty much only Castro came off authentic (I wonder why... rolleyes). Everything else was so cringey. It was like watching Minnesotans all clamor for free sh-t at a store or ballgame.

Yang is such a Silicon Valley tech bro. Interviewing for the most important job in the world, and can't be bothered to wear a tie.

Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers III: The Wrath of Warren

Does Bernie talk so loud because he can't hear himself?

Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers III: The Wrath of Warren

Sanders tries to dodge the opening tax question, finally admits the middle class will pay more, but couches it by saying their healthcare costs will go down.

Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers III: The Wrath of Warren

Biden opens with a broad statement to Middle America about the "dignity of jobs" and that Trump's tax cuts must go. Harris basically says "dittos".

Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers III: The Wrath of Warren

Hickenlooper is asked about scary socialism. Plays the "Republicans will kill us with it, so we have to be centrists" card.

Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers III: The Wrath of Warren

Gillibrand stumbles through a meandering word salad about not wanting "corrupt capitalism" and something about the NRA and gun manufacturers.

Re: 2020 Democratic Challengers III: The Wrath of Warren

Actually, I met Sen. Gillibrand at an event in Albany years ago. My friend, a legal immigrant from Jamaica, and his daughters and mom were with me. His mom was a permanent resident but not yet a citizen. She was very very receptive to her journey about becoming a citizen, and spent 10 minutes just talking with her in private about the citizenship test and immigration. She was very grateful, and my friend and his family wound up on her statewide campaign literature. :D
