2019 Transfers

Re: 2019 Transfers

hey numbnuts, unless one of them is transferring to Clarkson, I count 4 on the hockey team alone

you could, like I did for Clarkson, use Google to find out how many there are, but considering you aren't even able to get the number on the hockey team correct, I guess you really were wondering how many there are

Taking it kind of hard, are we?

Sitting out a year is interesting. If a school was willing to give a three year scholarship even though she has to sit out a year it might make sense. A player would be able to graduate on time.

Agnew transfers and is named Captain after transferring. Rust was named a Captain at BU after transferring. What is with the Boston Schools?

Re: 2019 Transfers

;)

The Darryl Watts watch and schools she is likely considering:

(Assuming she wants/needs to be on scholarship...)

Wouldn't the school need to have a scholarship available to hand out to her? If a school has already committed their 18 scholarships for 2019-2020, they can't just 'take one away' from somebody else, can they?

Who has scholarships available to hand out at this late date?

If this is her sole reason for transferring, then it would speak volumes about her character. And maybe part of the reason why Hockey Canada took a pass at her this past season.

If you believe that's her reason then you're a dolt. It's very simple really. Coach is the number one problem here. To think otherwise is silly. Watts leaving is hardly a surprise.

When do the scholarships lock in as in you can't cut a player and give their scholarship to someone else? Every D1 school is contacting her I'm, sure. Would she enter the porthole without having a really good idea where she wants to play?

I will reiterate that this out of conference free agency thing sucks. They should have to sit a year like the boys.

The real question is if a player enters the portal, do they lose their scholarship at BC or any school for that matter. Or if they don't like what the other schools offer can they say they want to stay.

When star players transfer, you don’t have to look any further than behind the bench for the reason why. It is rarely because of the school or teammates.
