2019-20 NMU Hockey Season

Re: 2019-20 NMU Hockey Season

So..... uhhhhh......

Okay boys. You got that out of your system. Now go and rip some W's until April.

Re: 2019-20 NMU Hockey Season

I am just shocked at how poorly we are finishing this season. We are in a constant battle to clear our zone, can't sustain any offensive threat, and the goaltending is inconsistent. Our ability to bring the puck through the neutral zone has disappeared, which leads to a never-ending parade of turnovers and scoring chances for our opponent. It’s almost like every aspect of their game is imploding, which is very concerning. Not sure what it is going to take to light their fire, but clearly this freefall can resonate well into even next season, if not corrected.

Wildcats Pick Up Weekend Split With 5-1 Win At LSSU

February 22nd, 2020

Good news is we control our own destiny. Looks like if we sweep Tech, we would host Tech in the 1st round. If we get swept, we could be traveling to Alaska or Bowling Green. We win one next weekend, we lock down third place and could play any of the three, but Tech would be the most likely opponent. I am up for another ticket conspiracy.
Hopefully we continue to play like we did last night.

It was more than a conspiracy

Re: 2019-20 NMU Hockey Season

Well, that happened.

Can we get ONE win against Tech?

Yes, a timely one at that. Looks like our prize is a home series vs Tech. Let's see, how did we screw them out of tickets the last time? I am all for part II of that experience.
